I read recently that there was a time of year restriction on brewing along with the rest... Most people focus on the ingredients when talking about it. Which would make sense if you are making lagers without the benefit of a refrigeration.

Are those the purity of brewing laws/standards set in Germany some 400 years ago?

That's the other reasoning. It boils done to one of four reasons:

1. The person, or people, he works with is a dick and left him up there.

2. The guy is a dick and nobody else cared.

3. The guy was new and everybody forgot about him.

4. The guy is really quiet and everybody forgot him.

First golf meet of the year today for the girls. Great weather but a bit windy, so we'll see how they fare. Should be interesting to see.

2 days until my first playoff games since I went to a Sens/Pens game back in HS since it was close and I was able to find cheap tix. My flight back to Tampa Thursday better not be late, although I have a bit of time to spare.

What a day. Still sick yet had to manage our US Soccer Day event all day. We are now a sponsor of US Soccer and officially announcing it tomorrow externally but today we had an internal employee event in three locations- here in Boston, at our Safeco office in Seattle and one of local sales offices in San Antonio. Why there? Because the US is playing Mexico at the Alamo Dome tomorrow and we're in market with a big tent etc. Kinda bummed I didn't get to go there. I stayed here, we had Joe-Max Moore in Boston. Really nice guy.

I'm on my way to Fenway for my first Red Sox game of the season and I'm so congested and exhausted. Probably won't last past the 3rd or 4th inning. Maybe I can call in sick tomorrow.

Oh and I got a Facebook message from the mom of a former BU goalie who saw Rover's asinine tirade against Matt O'Connor in the BU thread. Yeah, that's what I need right now. Rover is such an ***.

I used to wish my team had more people posting here... then I read some of y'alls threadsin D-I and I'm suddenly glad we have so few.

What is it with some people? I understand being a fan but some of those *ers just can't let anything go.

Joe-Max! Loved seeing that guy play years ago.

You did not want to go to San Antonio, unless you wanna say "hola, Como estas?" over and over. This game is just the annual friendly against Mexico somewhere in Texas or Arizona that pays the bills for US Soccer by selling expensive tickets to US born Mexico fans. Definitely try to get one for the next game at Foxborough though.

DHead Boss actually listened to me today!

Me: We're gonna have 3 shuttles tonight, instead of 2 (a very rare occurrence)
DHB: Can we get Weekly Big Order on the first truck?
Me: Only if you guys (at the main building) actually process/prepare/etc it. Then we will have only 2 shuttles.
DHB: Ok, do that.

The shuttle only holds 10 pallets. If I had to process the Weekly Big Order, there would not be enough room on the 2nd shuttle for everything and meet deadlines, etc. I was surprised, and pleased, at the decision. Helps that also got everyone out at a decent time tonight.

that would be one theory. That or the troll invested in porn back in the day, made a killing and now helps to support Boards cocaine habit with bribes, blow, and hookers.

I almost ripped rover a new one in that thread but I realized it wouldn't have done a **** thing. If he's going to think and act like that... yeah.
