Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

It's snowing. I knew it was supposed to snow. I thought it was supposed to be nothing. Doesn't look like nothing. At least for now.

Watching the Selection Show. Earlier this morning on the local news the said it's the most exciting day in college sports. No. It's not. It's the most exciting day in college basketball, for sure. All of college sports? No. It's up there, but it's not THE most exciting day.

Cooked today. Made meatballs. My mom told me to use the 85% fat free hamburg instead of the 93% fat free. I do notice a difference. Then I made avgolemono soup. For some reason I thought it didn't come out great. I've made it all by myself about four times and I feel like I did a good job the first time and then it got worse each other time, or so it seems. Never unedible. Just not like my mom's. Of course, it took her years to make it as good as my grandmother's. I had it for dinner and actually, it came out really good. Yay! Dinner for the rest of the week!

HHT!!!!!

Phew. And the ref pair we had tonight is the pair that was at BU last night. All I can say is wow. At least they are consistently awful no matter where they are. Sit next to a linesman every game. Running joke that the linesmen and refs are always right. Looked over today an he was holding his nose. He is a funny guy.

Selection show is next Sunday....

Sitting on the deck in a t shirt, drinking a beer enjoying a beautiful near 70 degree afternoon.

If any golf fans here missed out on the Valspar, I'm sorry. Incredible day, fantastic crowd and gorgeous weather.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

Got a bunch of raking done this weekend, but it was too windy most of today, so couldn't get finished.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

That was a heck of a playoff for a minor tournament.

Well, while it certainly doesn't hold the prestige of Bay Hill, Doral, etc in the Florida swing, it's growing. Fast.

5 of the top 10 were present this weekend, along with numerous other solid players. Another year of record crowds, and an absolutely gorgeous course/resort.

You can go to the early game?
Screwed again. When we wanted the late game they didn't allow (caused all sorts of probs when our coach tried to do this). Now Poof. BU gets the late game. ::feeling very bitter::
