Screwed again. When we wanted the late game they didn't allow (caused all sorts of probs when our coach tried to do this). Now Poof. BU gets the late game. ::feeling very bitter::

Well, NESN gets what they want. I certainly don't want the late game.

GRRR! Stupid Comcast X1 platform. For the last hour or so it's been having issues. Completely black screen at the moment. I've unplugged it three times already.

Good morning! Off to Denver via O'Hare...and Denver...and Eagle...and Denver again...and Aspen...

Should be a good time.

Good Morning Lodge. Looks like the last day of our nice weather here, though temps will stay above average for a while.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

It's cold here this morning but supposed to warm up today. Below freezing later in the week as well. Yay Spring!

Happy Birthday MEUSA!!

Woke up this morning, put up the shade and.....more snow on the driveway. Ugh.

No, I think there is an advantage to getting an extra 3-4 hours of rest before the Saturday game.
Besides the extra few hours rest, most coaches prefer the early game so that there's no chance of timing getting screwed up with OT affecting the start of the later game.

True. During our weekly coaches show this morning Tech's assistant coach said they also like the early game because the coaching staff can stay and watch the late game, and do some last minute scouting, whereas if you're playing in the late game, you're busy preparing for your game during the early game.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

All true. Which is why if anyone got screwed with the game times, it's BU and UNH given that in theory, they should be in the early game. Personally, I was hoping to take public transportation from work to the game and then home but now I'll probably go home, change, and drive back in and see if I can find a garage that doesn't cost me thousands of dollars.

Crazy busy day. My boss is in Chicago at a conference and emailing be constantly.....one in particular was a response to an email to an agency I copied her on that in the first sentence I said I met with John (her boss) and proceeded to outline changes that need to be made. She replies "Did you run this by John?" ::head desk::
