Depending what you are using on it and screen brightness you might be outpacing the charge. Although if you're using an apple brand charger that should be difficult to do.

It doesn't happen with my phone though.

This flight is chock full of little kids and babies and if the toddler sitting behind me doesn't stop hitting/kicking the back of my seat I'm going to snap.

I'm invited to a wedding reception on Friday night - I don't mind missing the ceremony in the least. I'm normally inclined to attend, but this thing's at a golf course in Oak Grove. I just looked it up, and that's really far north. I would normally have a 70-minute car ride each way, but this is Memorial Day weekend, so all the cabin people will make going north a real bear Friday night.

Anyone else watching msnbc waiting to hear about an emergency landing in Omaha to deal with a crazed lady passenger?? :)

Oak Grove?!? Have to look that one up. /// time passes /// You're right. Driving there on the Friday of Memorial Day? Yikes.

PS: On the other hand, what's the food and drink situation likely to be? :D

Just got back from the beach with a couple friends who are visiting for the weekend. Apparently I missed some of my back, because I'm now a tad red in the middle of it. This will suck for a few days.

No one I know died today. The week is getting better, relatively.

Took the day off, just because. Ran some errands, went beer-hunting (for a couple brews I haven't found yet), and then enjoyed the weather just killin' time on the patio. Starting the guest list for the Wide-Eyed Hullabaloo Of 2015.

Good evening Lodge.

Everything is packed and the boys and I are ready to head north for four nights and five days of tenting it in the great outdoors.

As far as my drama, which is very trivial in the face of all these recent family deaths - I'm getting really tired of the process of trying to "advance my career". I've been at my current company for 3.5 years, and for about a year now, I feel I've been stuck doing the same sh*t. I've been trying to improve the current situation by volunteering for new projects, etc. Invariably, this is met with enthusiasm by management, only to be followed up with a lack of ownership/drive on their part. After playing the BA role in a fairly successful implementation for one customer, I tried to get more technically involved with another customer's upcoming implementation. I got my admin certification and I've been angling for more of an architect/consultant role. However, now the talk is that they're going to fill the second technical role by putting the apprentice developer on it instead, who has been with the company for about six months.

So, now you know why I've been looking since the start of the year.

I am once again, after three phone interviews, at the stage where it's time for a face-to-face. Is this it? We'll see. Waiting to hear on a date and time (3rd interview was with the director last Wednesday). After my experience back in March, I am trying very hard not to get my hopes up. I am an impatient person, and regardless of the companies I've talked with so far, the waits have become very infuriating.

No deaths on my end either, but my drama is simply finding a job. Based on past experience (and a vocational assessment) I'm not very good at manual labor, and the job postings I see each week are for high-speed, manual labor gigs. That's why I'm hoping working with Michigan Rehab Services will help get me a job where I'd be a good fit. Only problem is, it's a slow process.

Hi, I'm a spoiled, whiny, entitled Millennial. :D

Aren't you just the cutest! Here, have a participation ribbon!

/just baaaaaaarely also a Millennial
//I don't think anyone over 30 belongs in a generation with someone who's not even out of high school yet

Stay off of 10 and you should be fine. Then again I am someone from Coon Rapids, and think of Oak Grove as not that far away.

Morning. The wedding checklist is finally getting shorter. Invites have been ordered!

I think I'm down to cake, photographer, my suit and my ring.

This planning part is definitely the worst.
