Just got on the plane, headed up to Birmingham AL tonight, then driving 2 hours west in the morning. Back to the boat, but only for 2 weeks this go around to get back on my regular schedule.

Been off for close to 2 months, but I'd gladly take another 2 Months off. Heh.

Have fun storming the castle!

If you go to Cub Foods, you will see one of the 77 signs. They are for all the Cub stores. Got those finished and out the door. The 4x4 signs were almost done when I left. Banners are for tomorrow and another vinyl project on foam core. Plus a newsletter layout and revising a flyer. And printing business cards. There is a lot to do.

Big day tomorrow.

1. Making things legal in relation to the step-parent adoption by the ex- and her husband
2. Lunch with Armadillo.
3. Getting the back checked out. Just in case. Had a couple really good spasms after work today, just walking.

I feel like a wimp hating this cold as much as I do, but I think it is because this winter has been pretty mild. Also, it is my first winter at 200 lbs. in quite some time.

Sitting at 160-165 in weight, and taller than the average man, the cold just cuts right through me. Overall, this winter HAS been more mild, but I also think that it makes the cold that much worse when it hits. That one Feb last year (or year before?) where it never made it above freezing wasn't that bad, because we had a MONTH to get used to it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

I know you guys played Edgewood. We beat Edgewood in OT although the game was not that close and we should have won a bit easier.

We lost to Notre Dame 3-2, but had many chances to have a better outcome than that although, overall, they are probably better than us - a bit quicker.

Your team is probably better than us, but I think we could at least give you a game.

That's probably accurate. I know you guys would be better than LaCrescent. It's just tough to tell because LaCrescent mainly plays a Wisconsin schedule, had 19 wins, and was smoked last night by a 7 seed. We're not exactly flashy either. Just gritty and do a good job defensively..our special teams have been the difference in numerous close games this year..since December 30th, 12-1-1, Power Play is 37% and Penalty Kill is 94%. Crazy.

 western bias!!!!
More snow that is just incidental  of only about 4 inches.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

VERY little snow in MPLS this year. Boston received our share, it seems. However, it isn't March yet.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Nerves are building for tomorrow night..I always get a little nervous come playoff time. Don't really have a ton of control since I don't get to lace em up.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Minnesotans complaining about the cold. Tee hee! :D

What's next, tired of pine cones?

:p

Not a lot of good hockey over by LaCrosse either - Onalaska maybe being the exception.

Those are some crazy special teams numbers. Good luck tomorrow.

We play Madison West tomorrow, who has beaten us twice this season.

I like our chances though as we haven't given them our best.

We'll see.

Now that you mention it...

I hate when those buggers get halfway frozen in the ice. Tripping hazard! I can't pick up my feet with these heavy boots!

Pine needles and cones were the bane of my backyard rink.

Were like salt - went right through the ice almost regardless of temp.
