Glad it went well, Brent.

24 hours until we leave....tomorrow will drag by.
Dr. Strangelove on TCM - We must protect our precocious bodily fluids!

As well as it could, given all that has happened. Toughest thing I have ever been through. As Armadillo said, "THIS was the best outcome. Sadly, that is still so f*ed up, even though it is the best outcome." I agreed.

Yes Ralph, I missed it.

Good luck to Gurt Jr!

Thanks.

Gave up 3 goals in first 1:15 of game. Never seen anything like it.

After that, we dominated, out shooting and out chancing them by a wide margin. The ice was seriously tilted, but to no avail as they got a couple more snipes and we lost 5-3.

It's a weird feeling coz we seriously dominated them and it feels like we beat them... but we didn't.

Can't have that start and we've had a habit of starting slow all season.

Coach shortened the bench and Gurt Jr didn't get even one shift, so whatever. I'm good on high school hockey for now. Time for him to come back out to my groups (which he loves and can't wait for) and lacrosse starts in two weeks and he's good at that too.

Also has a spring U-16 tourney for the fall Wisconsin elite league that he played in mid March. Will be nice to see him get a regular shift for a coach who knows how to use him and appreciates his game.

Okay, done rambling.

Morning Lodge.

We got a tiny dusting of snow - like Boston wouldn't even notice it, <1". Still saw a couple accidents on my way in to work. Guess what morons, it's SLIPPERY. Can't drive at 65 and make rapid lane changes on this stuff. Sheesh.

Good morning Lodge. It's Friday! It's also pay day! Oh, and there's hockey tonight. Woke up around 5:00am and it was freezing so I checked my thermostat only to find out it wasn't working due to low battery. Great. Thankfully I had bought AA batteries 2 weeks ago but then I had to pry the cover off to replace them. Not what I wanted to be doing at 5:00am. Crawled back to bed and actually got up at my normal time. No meetings today so I wanted to try and leave the time I usually leave to see how long it would take. Wasn't bad.

Good morning Lodge.

This year of the sheep has been terrible so far.

Had water pouring from the ceiling through the bathroom fan into my lower level bathroom last night. I think there will be no more baths in the casa de wT. There must either be a crack in the tub or more likely, one of the hoses in the jets. So that was fun last night.

Then this morning I realized we have a home hockey game on Pi day (3/14...sorry, this is math). I was already extremely upset that some race company found our exact route and location and is having a pi run there. We were so excited last year when we realized we could have our 3/14/15 run at 9:26:53 since it's a Saturday. So of course, that is the time this company is doing their run, and they have the nerve to label it as "Michigan's original pi run". Umm, you're a couple years too late for that (unless they had a different venue, in which case, go back). Anyway, my non-hockey obsessed friends have scheduled our run for 4 pm and Michigan's game is at 5. Why can't it be a normal 7:30 start for hockey, or have our run at 9:26 like we were supposed to?

I know I shouldn't be so upset, it's just that I'll never get another 3/14/15 pi day in my lifetime and I'd been looking forward to this for a year.

Good afternoon, Lodge.

Legal papers pertaining to RV.2 are signed, so it's just a matter of processing them. Props to my lawyer (who is herself adopted) for making this as easy as possible. Plus, she could have easily billed me for about 30 minutes additional time (total, over the past month or two) and didn't.

Lunch at Church was free, due to various prizes and rewards. The bill was about $40, too!

My back? It's just a very *ed up muscle right now, near the ribs. Basically, I just have to deal with it until it works itself out, although they gave me a prescription for muscle relaxers. I'm pretty happy about that diagnosis, given the other possibilities. I think the doctor was a little surprised when I could pinpoint the exact spot (prob no bigger than the tip of your finger) where the pain was (if correctly hit/pressured). It really narrowed down the possibilities of what it could have been.
you need the Monster to fix you
Thanks.

Sorry to hear Gurt. Similar thing happened to us last year in the Section Final. Tough.

We ran into a hot senior goalie in a rivalry game last night, and thankfully finally buried a chance in double overtime to move to the semifinals. What a game it was. We outshot Albert Lea 38-13. A win is a win though, especially this time of year! 8 pm game Saturday now.

I also bought Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Brantley Gilbert, and Dustin Lynch tickets. Haven't seen Luke Bryan yet, not his biggest fan but he's good. Really excited for Thomas Rhett, and FGL is a party.

Also, any techies planning on coming to Mankato next weekend need tickets? I'm going to pick up a a couple of singles right next to our season seats, could help save on fees and such.

Have fun at the country Nickelback show. Florida Georgia Line is terrible.

I've seen them once. Actually really enjoyed it. It's high energy at least.

I've also got Chesney, Aldean, etc tickets at Target Field. That I'll be attending for sure, as well as two weddings, so I may just sell these for double what I paid for and enjoy a weekend at the lake, but who knows. I really want to see Thomas Rhett.

Gee, I will be on a train heading to NYC at 9:26:53 on 3/14/15.

Kid on the LeSuer-Henderson... Bulldogs is my cousin twice removed. Opposite side of the bracket from you though, so doubt you'll meet them but I think they play right before or after you tomorrow. He is a Bachman. His Great-Grandmother was my dad's sister. He scored their first goal last night.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

Been having to provide support for a coworker that is troubleshooting some issues at a customer site in Argentina (same customer that I will have to travel to at some point in the near future) since 5AM. Decided, instead of waking up even earlier, to work from home. I can look up stuff on the computer and answer questions from home just as easy as from my desk. The nice part is, it is noon and I already have 7 hours in for today! And my coworker is now done there, and on his way to the airport to come home, so my work is done! Now I can get working on the training I've been creating, to present in 2 weeks in Indiana. Fun times. The good news is I can watch my high school's girls team play in the state semi's. Don't think they'll win, but they'll likely be bounced by the state champions for about the 4th straight year.

They're hanging in there through 2. #13 for Blake is a girl we know pretty well from elementary school and she played 3-on-3 with Jr one summer. She is one tough cookie and has already committed to a D1 school out east. Really good soccer player too.

They lost to Faribault in Overtime last night.
