Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

I renounced it until the team gave me a reason to get it back. Even after Fri's game, I said MN needed to sweep for it to come back. They did, so it did.

I'm just gonna put this here...

I, Brenthoven, of sound mind and body, renounce tArrogance until next season. I shall be a normal fan for the rest of the current season. tArrogance shirt shall not see the light of day until the opening game of next season. I shall not assume any sweeps, nor predict any sweeps. It is with a heavy heart I make this statement.

:D

I believe the proper response is: BAZINGA!

My daughter is home for the weekend, we get home from Mass & breakfast and she asks if we can watch The Big Lebowski before she drives back to school.

I am a parenting demigod. :D

Friday the windshield wipers I put on the day before bowed up when I turned them on, smeared the melted snow all over the window which then froze solid, then the low air tire light came on and then when I got to work the windshield (new a few weeks ago) cracked all the way along he bottom. Then my team lost another horror show.

Yesterday the blizzard started. Went into BU, Lil ran meh, look on the updates- 5-0 in the first- us. ended 7-1. Must be a jinx for me to listen or be in the building. Drove home in the blizzard. Wheeee!

The snow is now above my waist where it hasn't drifted. There is a lot of snow.

Our men's hockey team played Lake Forest in Vernon Hills this weekend. When we arrived at our arena this evening for the womens' game, we were told that the men's team was still in Vernon Hills, and that both 80/90 and I-94 were both closed, so they were likely marooned in Illinois for the night.

I had a semi truck power-slide while coming at me around a corner at lunchtime. I was quite happy to see that he got it corrected, as I had nowhere to go but the cemetery if he didn't get it fixed.

Apparently all the local news outlets later said 80/90 was closed, sure didn't look like it while we were driving back home. The Indiana Tollway trucks were happily parked alongside the U-Turns without a care in the world as cars kept driving Eastbound on 80/90. None of the message signs said anything about weather/accidents either.

And their twitter account was silent.

Frustrating to see their tollway operate that half-assed.

Wife found an article this morning that said about the time we got rolling from the gridlock, the Tollway decided to park the plows because they couldn't safely get through. Again, not a peep from them about it at the time.

I think the must share resources with the Georgia DOT...

Says the guy who is a fan of more than a few teams. I only downgraded to tConfidence for a short while. :p

That's not bandwagon. Unless you're talking about the Vikings and Twins. Then I'm totally on those bandwagon. College hockey? Never.

Zyklon just gave me gray rep for a post in 2010. that is 50 rep threads ago. Hmmm. I wonder what "*****" is. Lazy and didn't type anything but * ? Typed a 5 letter bad word? :D gave me a little giggle at the end of a long day.

my experience here (south bend) has been that they wait until it's done snowing before they start to plow. it's annoying. Indiana kinda sucks (a lot)
