That sucks as that just mean they'll have to plow out the ruts and then if its really bad there's going to be some idiot out there stuck in a big drift in the middle of the road that they'll have to stop the plow for.

The record playing? That was awesome. I got what he was doing overall (in his career) but IMO he didn't quite hit it.

That's because they don't want to plow up the 200 lbs of salt per square inch that they laid down. Whoever is running snow removal in this state is just guessing.

This is really ****in' early. I don't know how some of you do this.

Back to work and the nightmare I left on Thursday...time to see when I travel to South America, and beg to only go for a week...

edit: looks like 1 week for sure, probably the week of March 9th, possibly the week before that, but we're pushing for the 9th. I hear the food is good in Argentina...

Good morning Lodge. Happy Monday. Made it to the office without too much trouble. Was trying to decide if driving in or dealing with the limited MBTA service in the frigid cold would be my best bet. Went with the limited MBTA service. It was....not too bad. My toes are just about thawed out. I worry about tomorrow. Today was a holiday for many so there weren't many commuters. Plus, we're supposed to get more snow tomorrow morning. I have a meeting today at 4pm that has already been postponed twice. I hope the guy we're meeting with made it in today. That meeting is the main reason I came in.

Starting on the 9th? Isn't the conference tourney on the following weekend?

Final 5 is the 20th-21st, so there is a weekend in between. I'd be gone from the 9th-13th, then be back for a partial week of work before the Final 5. I'd be traveling back during the first round game(s).

brrrr. cold in 978 land. (for 978 land, I know it doesn't compare to the MW. Eastern bias and all)

Covering the practice for the week. Snow tomorrow. Another adventure. Was supposed to be a trace and now 3-6 inches. I have seen this forecast before. It will be over 6 by tonight.

-7 in 315 land presently, though the windchill on top of Whiteface (albeit in 518 land) was -70.

Indeed. Thank you. It should be an interesting Section tournament. New Prague is the one seed and they've had a solid season, but they've been playing a ton of close games with Section teams recently and haven't been elite. Virtually anybody from seed 1-10 could beat anybody, so it'll be interesting.

mookie tried that. pulled out some pierogis from the fridge and fried them in butter.... unfortunately the kids smelled them and there went his lunch. so mookie had to settle for some reese's puffs cereal
