Woke up sick this morning..nasty cough, lungs full of junk, etc. Don't have time to get much rest, but really need to be smart taking care of my body as hockey hits the home stretch.

Snowing. Lots. Another snow day at teh U. Lil has had 2 classes in the last 10d. Your tax $ at work. (he has only one class at 8AM a few days a week.)

Snow day!! Got the call at 5:30am. Not sure why they didn't let us know yesterday, but regardless, smart move. It looks really bad out. Very windy and lots of snow coming down and will be doing so all day.

Oh wait...there I go again. Sorry! It's really nothing! Just a little snow! Carry on.

Have you gotten the Beanpot tickets yet?

Ethics question. My dad called me from Florida and asked if there was any way to get a copy of today's Globe for him. He wants to read the stories about the Pats. I told him I would take a walk over to CVS to pick one up. And then I looked out the window and saw that the snowfall picked up. So I took a walk down to my lobby. People who get the Globe delivered have it dropped off in the lobby. There's one left. It's almost 2:30pm. You think I could grab it? Or should I venture out to buy one?

Aren't they on-line?

This might depend upon how long the walk to CVS is. Perhaps you just get on a computer and send him the direct links to the stories instead.

My dad is in Florida on vacation. with no access to a computer. He gets the newspaper every day while he's at home. He's old school. He likes to read a paper at the table with his breakfast. It's a great memento for him.

CVS is pretty close but it's still pretty bad out. Oh no, I did it again. I complained about the amount of snow, which I know I have no right to do. Never mind. I'll bundle up and head outside.

Scarlet, you shouldn't let Brent get to you like that. No one who knows him takes anything he says/posts with any degree of seriousness.

Does anyone know if champagne will stain a hockey jersey? Trying to decide if I need to plan on bring a dark colored jersey with to Boston.

They'll probably be sold out by now. :D

Regardless you've got to get a copy. So whatever way you feel best about, that's what I'd do.

Ask yourself, "What would Brent do?"

Steal the paper, and then ***** about how little snow is outside. :D

take it and drop a dollar.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

I got dressed to go out to get one but if the paper was still there, I would think long and hard about just taking it because, well, it was 3:15. But it was gone. So outside I went. And I got one. And I was 5 cents short and the guy at CVS was really nice and still let me get it. Didn't realize newspapers were $1.25 now.

Not unless you're drinking pink champagne. Regular champagne will actually remove stains from red wine just like still white wine will. I know, I've used it.
