So Beanpot tickets did not arrive in the mail yesterday. I don't get why they USPS can't get an envelope to go 5 miles in two days. It left the arena on Wednesday. It left the main post office facility on Thursday. As of yesterday, it's "out for delivery." Which means it will show up Monday. Except that we're getting a blizzard on Monday so my mail, which usually doesn't show up till about 4pm anyway, probably won't be delivered at all. And if we weren't getting a storm, I'd be at work and not there to receive it.

And oops, I forgot....I'm not allowed to complain about the fact we're getting another bad snowstorm that will dump more snow on us because other places also get snow. Sorry about that. Disregard this post in its entirety! My bad.

There's 11-13" of fresh snow on the ground since ~3 AM. And it's just now starting to snow harder.

Thankfully, I just got the OK to work from home tomorrow. It doesn't matter how much plowing they do, tomorrow's commute will be a gongshow.

Mrs's good friend from her home town was scheduled to come fly in from PA this week. Their flight through Detroit for today was cancelled, I guess there is some weather problem at Detroit.

Good start to a Monday morning. Got my 2014 performance review back from my new supervisor (never can be sure about what a new supervisor thinks until you see one of these)...nothing but very positive comments. I'm apparently an expert and doing an excellent job.

Snow day!! Got the call at 5:30am. Not sure why they didn't let us know yesterday, but regardless, smart move. It looks really bad out. Very windy and lots of snow coming down and will be doing so all day.

Oh wait...there I go again. Sorry! It's really nothing! Just a little snow! Carry on.

Morning.

We had a little snow, but more rain last night. Now it's cold so.. Yay ice!

I don't like DD coffee as you know, but I do love those munchkins (donut holes). Great even 2 days later.

We watched Kitten Bowl II and had the SB on for the ads. Depressing ads but a good end to the game. Taped Fallon so I could go to bed. Fun episode.
