Well that was fun. The fire alarms went off. There was a fire in one of the other buildings of my condo.

I find it funny that I am getting job declines. Yes, it is sad, but I have had people respond to me more times in the past two weeks than I have in the past year.

Good morning tLodge. Signed up for email alerts from a job searching site (which included uploading a resume) on Tuesday, got a recruiting email on Wednesday, they called yesterday, an I have an interview today. Not exactly what I'm looking for at the moment, but it's at least full time.

I finished listening to Serial, that aparch recommended. It really is quite good. I enjoyed it, so I went to look for other similar things on google, and I found a couple that sounded interesting, tried to listen to them, but as far as I can tell, I need to use an ITunes. I don't really want to infect my phone with that garbage, so I guess I'm done listening to these.

iTunes should automatically be on your work phone...

Well that went well...all that's left is a background check and a drug test. Wouldn't start until February though.

Life is so much nicer, being Apple-free.

Back to a (different) boat tomorrow am. Been sitting on one of ours in the shipyard since Sunday. Outside of a couple drives to get/bring crew members places, I sat and watched TV, slept all night, and was generally doing nothing. Actually kind of glad to be getting back after it on a moving boat for the next week.
