So, we spent an extra night in the UP... Hit a deer about 45 minutes west of the bridge. We're all fine. Car's banged up, but drivable. We're on our way back home now.

The worst part is that we had to leave the giant rat on the side of the road since we didn't have any way to take it with us. It would have looked great in my freezer.

nobody to call to do a pickup?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

My Tuesday morning had "Tuesday" written all over it.

Woke up at 3 am listening to puppy's tummy gurgling. Let her outside. When she comes back in I close the bedroom doors 'cause I don't want to clean up vomit on the carpet and based on the noises and past experience, this is a possibility.

Anyway this morning I'm walking back to the bedroom when I think to myself, I should look to see if there's a mess I need to clean up. So I'm looking behind me scanning the living room as I step in it in the hallway. Luckily I had socks on, but still I found the timing to be perfect. Just as I thought about looking for it I found it with my foot.

Hope you all enjoyed my gross story for the day. Happy Tuesday everyone!

Our cat gives a distinct warning when he's about to puke also. Since he has early renal failure thats more and more often.

He seems to enjoy doing it at like 3 am and waking everyone up.

We were still on the side of the road waiting for the po-po to arrive.

Thank Parise we weren't in Wisconsin...
Hey, some people pay extra for that type of show. They're called Wisconsinites, but still, they're people too. Sort of.

I do enjoy this time of year when I get to meet with our media reps (TV & radio).

They bring me gifts - oftentimes bottles of wine.

Sometimes they bring me tickets...

Last week I got 4 Badger basketball tickets.

Today, I got 4 suite tickets to the Badgers/Tech game on 1/2. I do enjoy the suite life. :)

3 more reps to go this week.

Too bad for you that it's Badger hockey.

Oh... Tech is due to crush their fans' dreams anytime now.

Unfortunately, we suck too hard to be the ones to facilitate the slide...

:p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

I'm actually pulling for Tech this season, just not that weekend.

Dunno why. Probably how much I love the Keweenaw (favorite area in the U.P.) and to some degree, like Houghton.

Also - when I first went there, Tech fans on here made great suggestions so we saw all of the cool places.

So, are you going to toss me and pb a couple spotted cows down from your perch in the suites? We'll be in the, sadly, dry lower bowl. :p

I would if I could or if you could get away with having them down there... amongst the commoners. :p

Bring in your flask. I always do when I want to drink.

Nothing better than your favorite whiskey/bourbon with RC. :D
