Good Morning Lodge. Except for freezing drizzle - hate that stuff.

Take it from someone with too much experience at this- shut the feed to the heater off if it has one.

And if it holds. If the house was built cheaply it'll have a gate valve and it won't shut off fully against the water pressure. Better than nothing though. I have spent the last 15 years lobbying to remove gate valves from all our specifications and I've had some success. Work fine when brand new, but at no time after that on most systems.

The house was built in 1964. The water heater has been there since 1990.

The house didn't explode, nor did I wake up to a swamp this AM. Waiting for a callback from the client.

Friday afternoon I provided items needed for two separate jobs to be done. I have to say, I was really thorough. Copy, images, web site wire frame and so on. I notified everyone I was supposed to. This morning, before 11am, I've already received responses from two of the people notified asking me when I was going to provide them with items. Maybe you should look at your inbox to see that I already did! Sometimes I wonder why I do the work......

New water heater in place.

Listening to the new AC/DC album on Itunes. This one is a little different.

Howdy Lodge.

Was going to post about PSU player Tinder files this weekend, but looks like I can just provide a link:

Our student section had a good bit of fun this weekend. I think the best was Mrs. Robinson (a PSU parent) telling us her son, "really is a cowboy".

Crazy stuff like this is one of the reasons I love college sports so much more than pro.

Morning

Today is my only day in the office. Working from home Wednesday and then let the food coma commence!

Good Morning Lodge.

I am having a dumpster delivered to the house today. Time for some serious cleaning over the long weekend - I'm taking Wednesday off to get it started (in between prepping the turkey for the smoker). Finally going to get the basement organized so I can start on finishing off a larger room to become our workout room and make the old workout room into a new office for Mrs.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Having just an amazing time cleaning up the mess the old supervisor left. He claimed that he was so organized, but there is no way you can tell with the way the office looks.

Seems like you would have wanted to start this before the snow and cold arrived?
