That's a big reason why I've not gone back to playing in the Super Rink league. Driving from Farmington to Blaine and back when the ice time starts at 10:50PM on a Monday makes that 5:30AM alarm look really nasty.

Wow... thought I had it bad last night/this morning: 10pm start time, got home at 12:30, passed out on couch around 1:30, up at 6:00.

Tonight is better as the start time is 9pm.

Will be a little slower group too, so won't wear me out quite as much.

Finally back in my own house. Get to sleep in my own bed tonight, oh king size bed how I missed you. And I successfully fended off the "how early can you come back to work's" from our office, I'm off until Monday evening

Watching what might be the worst hockey game I've ever seen in my life. After 1 the score is 7-0 and shots are 20-2, and that "2" is dubious at best.

Well... got the final news today and it's good. The boy made varsity.

He'll play quite a bit of JV too as they are short numbers, but he'll play every varsity game and he has a stall in the varsity locker room.

Wish they could have just told us a week ago. Was certainly obvious to me.


More relieved than happy at the moment, but happy will set in soon.

Pride is always there.

My brother just texted me that his wife is being deployed to Germany for 10 or 11 months with the MN Air Guard, it begins in January. They have season tickets to Gopher games, a few rows off the glass, bench side, near the corner on the end the Gophers defend twice. He's letting me use her ticket while she's deployed.

I started reading that post and was like "Wow, she's being deployed....I'll send thoughts and pray....wait...it's about you getting Gopher tickets. Huh" Well then.

Yeah, it's Germany. She's going for logistics support, hardly in the most dangerous of places. Happily. The thing is, which I'm not saying to my brother or SIL, given that it's logistics, she could easily do 98% of the job from her office at Fort Snelling (borders Minneapolis) and spend maybe a weekend or two in Deutschland.

Good Morning Lodge.

So one of the local teams looking for players at Jr's level is in Eden Prairie, right next door. One of the dads who knows Jr from past teams reached out to him personally to try and recruit him. It's a traditional rival team but Jr had fun playing with those guys in summer hockey. Hope he takes them up on it.

Off to Mavsy town for meetings today.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Impatiently waiting for the old guy to be let go. I had to go to the other location yesterday to find out where he keeps the information. He has it on his desktop. I asked why doesn't he keep it on the server so my location can have access to it. He doesn't want anybody to edit it. So I have to go back over to the other location to upload the files to the server and then sort out what he has been doing there.
