Howdy Lodge. Happy Friday. Trying to get a big project in the works this afternoon but have little motivation. Good thing is I'm here till about 5:30 before I head over to BU fo tonight's game. Puck drop is at 7:30.

Got a Facebook message from a long time friend (known her and her family forEVER, her folks are my brother's godparents, etc). She wanted my work number because her dad wants to call me about some church business. I have NO idea what that's about and I really don't want to talk about it. He's probably going to ask me to do something, like take over the newsletter. I don't even go (shame on me, I know) and I don't have the time to deal with planning something. I'm going to ingnore the message till later. I don't know why it's making me so anxious.

Hey Mavsy, so you guys have had your season delayed by having the FB team in the prep bowl? My client I met with today has a boy on Mankato East. Also, my cousin's grandson is on LSHSP. Each of those kids go a goal and assist in their last game. Are you still coaching the JV?

So I just responded back to my friend hoping she wouldn't get it as it's 5pm, but she was online. Her dad wants to talk to me about the church's monthly e-newsletter, as I thought. I told her I'm not doing it but I can certainly talk to him about it. She said the girl that had been doing it had some falling out with the board. Great. I know none of these people, they all speak Greek, not English. I am so staying far away from that mess. I'm not sure why her dad is even involved. He's too old to be dealding with this mess. He better not try to guilt me into it. I don't have the time nor the facilities to do it. I haven't been to that church (I've been to another one) since Easter. Oy. Getting myself too worked up over this.

Last one here in the office again. Only here cuz the BU game is at 7:30, not 7, and I can't get in for dinner till 6pm and I'm only, like, a mile and a half away from the arena. I'd rather sit here and surf the internet than sit in my car in an underground garage for a half hour.

I'm the head JV coach and assist with the Varsity again. Was asked to stay on the bench for Varsiy games again like I did last year half way through. I'm very excited about that. Yes, we were supposed to play yesterday and tomorrow, but had them rescheduled due to the State Title game for Football tomorrow, yes. Our starting goaltender is on the football team, so its nice to have him for all of our games, but I didn't know how "right" it was to move Thursday's game. Saturday our guys should be able to support their best buddies in the biggest game they'll play. Ultimately it wasn't my call, and it worked out for me to go to Iowa City tonight for the game tomorrow.

Well, that's just ****ing embarrassing. How in the hell we lost to that god**** team, in our own barn, is beyond me.
