When I initially saw my schedule this weekend, I was excited that I opened Saturday and could watch a Gophers game. But nooooooo. I get to miss both games once again. I've only seen two thus far. One without sound because we were instead listening to Tech thump Michigan, the second in the hospital with my dad.

I suppose the second one wasn't so bad.

Oh yeah, he's on oral antibiotics and home now. Leg is still weird, but not utterly grotesque anymore.

It was strange seeing him in there. I'm old enough to know that he's not superman or anything such as that, like many children might. But he had never spent a single night in the hospital in my life to that point. He's getting up there in age, is a diabetic, and is overweight. An eye-opener and a reality check.

Edit. I think we are on the fringe. Could get a couple inches or could get a foot or more. The shiatty part is I have procrastinated in getting stuff done. I haven't taken my tractor in to get the mowing deck removed and the snowblower installed. Today I will scramble to hang Xmas lights. F. An. A.

Good thing the 2014 - 2015 super bowl champs Vikings are on a bye.

Good Morning, Lodge!

*HT for me. Heading back home today. I was supposed to go back tomorrow, but with the impending snow I am going back today. The only thing I am going to be missing is bar hopping all day today. No biggie. All I know is that the back seat of my car is going to be filled with Sconnie beer and kringle.

Back to working on the shed. Have a plan for getting the roof finished, and it better work, since there's up to a foot of snow coming ina day.
