Now those Chinese ****s that program the computers to **** with our website have to learn hockey. Great. Now China is going to win the Olympics in 2030.

The only way it will continue to work is if the questions keep changing over time. It can't just be 5 or 10 random questions that repeat. I'd imagine that would be easy to program around for people who can already get past captcha.

But I'm glad they are doing something.

I doubt they're specifically targeting this site though. It's probably a program that works on captcha protected message boards. If one message board finds a way to prevent it, I doubt the spammers will specifically try and find a way to continue spamming one site, when they're still getting hundreds of sites.

I found a Scooby Doo cartoon that I haven't seen. Apparently Mama Cass had a candy factory. The irony here is unbelievable.

Went out for a tasty beverage after work, not at hottie bartender's bar. One martini and some food and I'm ready for bed. Not sure why. It was nowhere near as strong as hottie bartender's drinks.

And I had the plans prior to knowing BU was playing in the conference championship tonight. Heading home and based on what I've seen on Twitter, I shouldn't bother watching when I get there. Oh well. It was a fun run! Woulda been cool to see them in the tourney.

I just put down a hold deposit for a new car. I'm going to be distracted tomorrow at the office.

True, doubtful they're really going after USCHO itself for some sort of coveted target group. Those spammers are just after raw numbers the fastest way they can get them.

Probably what Mavs said is right, and just having a hockey question would be enough to keep the spammers out. However, they might as well make it tricky enough for a computer program or for anybody who doesn't know hockey to answer them. A good pool of say 50 different questions or so would at least make it tricky enough for a computer program to figure it out.
