Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)
Good Morning, Lodge!
Good Morning, Lodge!
It's either -24 or -18 right now in Farmington, depending upon which weather service I choose to believe. The -18 one says that the wind is 9mph, so it feels like -38. Below that is also says "IT'S MARCH ********** 2!" Nobody's happy about that.Good morning Lodge.
-16 but it feels like -25. I thought I read somewhere that 320ville set a record that dates back to like the 1880's. The record? Something like 65 days this winter in which the temperature was below zero.

There you go. % of time below 32 degrees since Dec 1.
Morning, Lodge. As he said, it's friggin' cold out.
Well, there's at least 290 places to visit in Madison, WI too, but every place involves drinking a beer.
That map just made me turtle a bit.
Blankets hung between the couch and the coffee table count...I have set a goal to spend at least twenty nights in a tent between spring and late fall.
Met the girl last night as Jr and she were still here when we got back from the Gopher game. She seems nice enough, but quiet. The two of them were playing Yatzee when we got home - and no that's not a euphemism for anything dirty you ***ing pervs! They then moved on to Scrabble.

So Scrabble is the euphemism....?
Sorry we couldn't stop to chat before the game.
You know that sick feeling you get sometimes when you hear a news story? Well the St. Paul Carlton student who died in the car crash Friday was a kid who played with my son at Highland Central. Ug. Great kid, great family......so sad.
True. But you can't get bitten up by bugs or get prison ivy or suffer through the heat and humidity in the living room.
Seriously though.......since the loss of my dad (one year ago last Friday) I have spent considerable time over the past year reflecting on all the good memories we had. The majority of my memories of him and my family especially when I was younger revolved around camping and spending time in the great outdoors. So........I made the decision to create some memories for my boys. Granted, we could spend time in the great outdoors by being in a RV or cabin or hotel but that defeats the purpose.
There IS something just serene about a campfire and the wilderness. I do miss it. The woman and I do want to take the kids camping some weekend this summer. I still have a 9-person tent from my camping days. Yes, I like my roominess with a large tent.
Camping can be intents.
I was wondering if he videotaped the "Scrabble" game through a peep hole in the closet. Or maybe the Betty Crocker cake box sitting on the end table had a hidden camera in it.
