Speaking of balls... how's the dog?

He's back to his normal self, and doesn't seem to miss his jewels. We leave him home, and not in the kennel now, just with a gate to block the upstairs, and that is going well. I think he just lays on our bed all day.

Afternoon lodge. Here in the south we're prepping for snowmageddon 2014, part 26. Not expecting much of a mess in my neck of the woods, but any of you who will be/were planning to fly through Atlanta in the next few days have my sympathy.

bbdl - get that poor pooch some neuticles. :D

Our Charlotte, NC, office is freaking out right now. We're all just laughing and laughing here in Minneapolis. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #172: Did you see your shadow?

Just chatted with the coworker that I'll be going to Ecuador with, and it sounds like this trip is going to suck. We have to fly into Guayaquil, and drive 2 and a half hours to the site from there. The local contact said we'd have to drive there and back each day, so thats 5 hours in a car each day. We started looking at hotels near the site, and there seems to be dumps and high end resorts near by, and that is it. I told my co-worker we should just get a couple rooms at the nice resort and call it good. :D Also, it seems the only direct flight from the US to Guayaquil is from Miami, and it is an American Airlines flight, which makes me very upset.

Snowing down here below Memphis. This isn't OK. Nope.
Not like you need snow tires on the river. Just point and laugh at the idiots sliding about on river drive or whatever the road nearest the river is call.

Yeah, get the room nearby at the resort. It would have to be a lot more cost efficient and a better use of your time there on site to have that room there instead of having to bushwhack your way across Ecuador every day. It would be a hell of a thing to have everything all set to test something but you can't because you gotta leave for the commute to Guayaquil. Gives you more time on site, and if you happen to get a little golf in, bonus. ;)

Guayaquil

I thought you took that before you went to bed if you were sick.

Yeah, I'm sure there are tons of nice courses in freaking Ecuador....

Morning Lodge.

We got a little snow last night, just enough for a messy commute. No problem leaving at 6:25 though.
