We attended a NA3HL game. Big time operation. ;) He won 4 tix to next weeks game.

Big ice fishing contest in 320ville today. I will be outside from 6:30 am until 5 pm or so as I'm in charge of security. Sochi is nothing compared to my operation. :). Currently 15 below zero.

BRRRRR!!

Going to shoot pics for the wrestling team this AM. One of the kids on lil's XC team wrassles and has had a horrible home situation. Is now living with parents of a teammate from last yrs XC team. Went a few weeks ago to take pics and gave them a couple of discs of pics. Parents were so grateful. They made a copy for each kid and are giving them at their Sr night. Nice to do something enjoyable and have people happy!

Bodies bend in the most improbable ways. Just sayin'

We ate there a few years back and were talking to the owner about the movie and all that and he said that he has the old man's chair from the cabin. Said he didn't know what he was gonna do with it and wondered what I thought it was worth.

My old neighbor LOVES that movie (for some reason) and had I had room to transport it, I'd have made an offer.

When we went a couple years ago, I think he had passed on, not sure. Talked with Rosey herself (we were the only ones there at the time). Saw a bunch of pictures from when the movie was being shot there, etc. Funny moment: I finished my breakfast, but MNS and BPH didn't finish theirs. She stared down MNS, basically calling him out for not finishing. After a moment, she said, "That's okay that you didn't finish. Pansy boy (BPH) didn't finish his, either." :D :D :D

Escanaba In Da Moonlight. It's like the MI version of Grumpy Old Men, I suppose. The first half of the movie is brilliant, and tremendously accurate. The second half is pure crap. Stars Jeff Daniels.

And had a nice breakfast this morning, with a chuckle moment. I asked for hot sauce to go with my omelette. Waitress asked, "Tobasco, or 'hot-hot' sauce?" Turns out the "hot-hot" sauce was only sriracha. B*tch please. ;)

I had breakfast at The Hot Plate this morning. For you Twin Cities folks that's near Lake Nokomis. Nice place! No hot-hot sauce, tho'. :p

Jr played pick-up at a local park last night. One of his teammates? Brian Bellows. 16 years in the NHL, over 1000 points in his pro career. Slowing down a bit now though.

That's Edina. One of my buddies was playing in a pick-up game a couple years ago and was impressed with the speed of one of the players, turned out to be a she. Jenny Potter, former Olympian, former BADger, former Gopher. Could also run into Tom Chorske or John Madden who both have kids playing youth hockey here.
