My only w t f is this football game. Can't remember the Pack getting their arses whipped this bad in a long, long time.

If it can't be us though, better the Lions than the Bears or Queens.

Meal was awesome and the best thing were the baked mashed yams. Reminds me of St Thomas as they had those as a side a lot. Ours were better though.

You need a QB. I'll trade you a healthy Ponder for an injured Rodgers. Hurry up and decide the clock is ticking and this offer won't be on the table long.

I believe we are playing for next year (coz our defense sucks so hard), so as tempting as that sounds, we'll pass.

Replay of last year's semi against Canada in the WJC on NHL Network right now.

Looking forward to the WJC as always. We've actually won 2 of the last 4!!

And Canada hasn't won any. :D

For some reason I can't link to it, but I urge you to go to www.buzzfeed.com and click in the Thanksgiving feud article. I'm still laughing. A TV producer was on a flight today with this *****y woman and he tweeted it as it was happening. His last tweet was that the woman slapped him when they landed.

Just watched A Muppet Family Christmas, which is a long standing family tradition although the older boy bailed.

Such a great Muppet special. Quite possibly my favorite Christmas video/movie.

I see there's a Lady Gaga & the Muppets special tonight. Have MAJOR doubts about this, but might record it just in case.

We're a Muppet household... :)

When did you become a sccc fan? Congrats to you and your cousin. When's the wedding? I kid. I kid. ;) :p :D

I knew a woman my freshman year at SCSU where her parents were cousins. Jokes were made. A lot. She was good about it, though, so long as you knew her.

Each Thanksgiving we watch a franchise/blockbuster type movie or trilogy. Lotsa time available, cold outside, etc...

Have done the LOTR, Star Wars (IV-VI), Matrix, Raiders, etc...

Tonight? The Hobbit extended edition. Haven't seen the EE and only saw the theatrical once - and didn't like it. The boy hasn't seen it at all.

Giving it another shot.

No time for a trilogy this year coz of Badgers/Gophers, 2 Hawks games (:p gmann), Badger football, Walking Dead and shopping.

Been itchin' to see the Hobbit again, so here goes.

They did. Madre was a trouper, though. And she understood why I don't totally look forward to going there. ;)

That's my kind of family get together. My mom is one of 15. Two of my aunts own a restaurant and they shut it down for Thanksgiving and have the family over. Huge crowd of a family. It's a blast!

Happy Thanksgiving. Family was here and is now gone. Lots to talk about, most of which was like the Roman Senate scene in History of the World: Part I: "Bullsheet, bullsheet, bullsheet." ;)

The most melodramatic part of the whole evening was my cousin, who is about to graduate high school and is plenty sharp enough in math to study engineering, "whispering" to me on the way out that she doesn't really want to go to college, and it's her mom that's insisting she do it. She's looked into both U of Iowa and Michigan Tech for geological engineering, but told me she really wants to go into music and production, and thinks she can do that without a degree. *facepalm* *sigh*

My MIL is the caretaker/of our church so she's starting having t-day and Christmas in the church basement. I think we were around ~35 and were missing a couple, including my son. Think we had two 15 lb birds and we made about 15 lbs of potatoes. Good day!

Iowa will be the time of her life!
