Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Thank you for the effort :D

No, I think you should let hockey live!

HHT. 16 skaters on the bench. Spent most of the night in one of the function rooms up top at a reunion thing. Kept hearing the horn signalling goal. Shocked. in a good way :D

Went to the parent-kid thing at UML this afternoon. Going to be reno-ing the science buildings (lil is majoring in that). Starting to feel like he is a marked man. Sr in HS they are reno-ing the HS and it is a shiz show. They ripped up the track so no track for his Sr season. Now he is going to college and they will be ripping up those buildings too. seriously???!!!

i want to think i had heard about that... something in one of the math departments newsletters. IMO, something that needed to be done, both buildings reek of the 1970s. More importantly is space is needed. I've never been happy about the space situation given to the math department.

Of course I'm sure more attenion will be given to weather/physics/chem. I'd rather tear down that building go at least 3 more stories than renovate.

Good morning Lodge.

Going to try and fly standby on an earlier flight home later this afternoon. Hope I can. I didn't realize I booked such a late flight.

So I rarely venture in to read ECAC threads so I've only really heard rumors; wow hokydad really is insane.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Good afternoon Lodge.

We received about four inches of snow last night and now we have very windy conditions. Definitely a blizzard as it is absolutely nasty out. Visibility is very very poor as we have wind gusts nearly 50 mph. My driveway is drifted shut. Probably four feet deep or so and getting worse. Temp is also dropping and tomorrow we will have a high temp of about -15 with wind chills in the 50 below range. It's about time Mother Nature dealt MN a good old winter. I say bring it on!

My tractor with a snowblower attached won't fire up. Turns over fine but won't fire up. Not flooded. Replaced the spark plugs. I'm guessing its a fuel line or carburetor issue or solenoid I am mechanically handicapped so I am screwed until I can get it to the shop. F an a!

Should we organize a rescue team? I'm sure bb_dl will drive us in his pick-up. We'll load his 4-wheeler with the plow in the back and head on up to dig you out.
