Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Thanks. Interesting. In 2010 I got several positive Reps from him. Then I apparently wrote something when Union lost to tUMD that ticked him off, and since then the bile has been spreading.
He expends an extraordinary amount of energy being nasty and negative to people. I feel kind of sorry for him (of course he isn't hating on me for now so it makes it easier to feel that way). I mostly stay out of the DI threads. Lots of deranged people over there. Our thread has a guy that either is in ecstasy because we are going to the Frozen 4 or we suck and give up the season. He makes me dizzy but there is only one of him...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Morning Lodge. Breaking news - it's cold in Minnesota in January.

Morning.

I'm surprised any of you spend time in D1 threads. I made a joke in score thread and ended up a fair weather fan. hahaha.

So I definitely dont spend much time in the regular threads.

I put that particular a-hole on ignore some time ago. He's not worth the bytes to argue with him.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #171: On Turkeys.

Morning Lodge. Working from home today, everyone else is doing it, so I may as well too. Don't have much for meetings, which is what usually keeps me from working from home. Then I'll get some time to go out and plow the driveway too, I didn't want to do it yesterday since it was still blowing too much, and it would just blow back in after I plowed. Yesterday we did get around to trimming a bunch of trees that were hanging over the road and the road ditch, making it a huge pain for me to mow. Spent an hour or so with the chainsaw trimming branches and cutting them up into firewood. Had to do it in winter to avoid oak wilt spread.

Morning, Lodge. It's cold out. I still have to work, unlike half the state (or so it seems).

I wonder if it's a bit and it's not someone else on this site with a second handle.

Good Morning Lodge. Couple really good hockey games last night - good start to this new to tournament.

I didn't have your contact on my phone so if I have it, it's incorrectly filed. Oh yeah, you texted me last Friday didn't you? I guess I can go through texts and label your number correctly in contacts. I'm pretty good with work contacts - personal, not so much.

That's just because you're old.;)

Well, first time I've had classes cancelled in college due to weather. Might lay in bed for awhile before I make myself productive on this day off.

I drove into Minneapolis today so I could park in a heated garage. As expected, the main highways have a lot of black ice on them this morning.

I was wondering that too, but I don't know if someone could be that dumb as an act, it is kind of a "you can't make it up" situation. He claims to have a kid on some team, I wonder who it is...probably a pressbox allstar that never can be more than 3 feet from a drool rag.

Yeah, it was pretty slick. Definitely didn't drive as fast as I normally would. I saw a truck trying to get out of the ditch on 61. He almost made it too.

haha, yeah probably about right

Good morning Lodge.

I chose the wrong profession. I should have been a teacher. I'm not sure how many school days there have been so far this year, but I think they've had as many days on as off this month.

At least my kid's school is making the teachers post homework on-line and are cancelling the teacher retreat scheduled for Friday.

He also claimed in a Rep to me back in 2011 that former RPI goalie Nathan Marsters (RIP :( ) was his nephew.

Morning, Lodj.
Hi, Lodge. Who's making the popcorn? The Union and RPI threads are gold right now. :)
Isn't that the truth! :)

Ralph, you got told "Shut up you clown" over there. That was amazing. It was like a version of that Chappelle bit:
Ever have something happen to you that was so [rude] that you didn't even get mad? You're just like, "Wow, that was rude!" It's so blatant you're just like, "Wowwwwww!" Almost like it didn't happen to you, like it was in a movie or something. :D
