Good morning Lodge.

Breakfast has been served. Crepes, bacon and fresh fruit (just got 10 pounds of freshly picked blueberries from Michigan, they are awesome!). Blueberry, strawberry, raspberry and locally made maple syrup. Oj and coffee via French press.

LWB is around; I'm actually headed over to her place tonight to go grab a beer or three. Other than that...if they are in the midwest, probably. Blizzard T Husky (MTU mascot) is even there! (saw some pics on FB).

Well, the bad part of the day is over. There were well over 200 people who attended the funeral, it was standing room only, despite us having the whole funeral home to ourselves today. I guess the home had to rent extra chairs because of the original expectations (which was 120-130 people). :eek:

I also definitely take after my uncle (the cop). We both kinda sat back, scanning the crowd during the viewing period, and when cued to intro ourselves or say hi, we stepped forward, did our duty, then went to hanging back. I mentioned to him it was like being a "cooler" at the bar, and he laughed and agreed.

And THIS JUST IN BREAKING NEWS: MEg just beat two of the best Beerdart players at the post ceremony tailgate! :eek::eek::eek: She's normally one of the worst players!

Sounds like quite the funeral.
It is always heart warming to have so many people and know the person was appreciated.
And good for MEg!

Got a bunch done today! Ran errands, bought the remaining items I need to finish the spare bedroom (door and closet doors), painted the closet and did some varnishing, mowed the lawn and changed my oil. Being productive is exhausting.

Brent, I haven't said anything about your recent events. I generally don't know what to say, and figure that anything I have to say isn't going to make much of a difference, so I try to keep quiet when stuff like that happens. I just want you to know, if you need anything from me, let me know, I'll be here.

John Buccigross retweeted a picture of Biddlyn's wedding - ha! I did not know they were getting married at center ice. That was pretty awesome.
