No. If you're going to go to Mickey's....GO TO Mickey's.Do you have a car? Take HWY 5 like you're going back to the airport, go past the airport and Hwy 5 turns into West 7th in St. Paul. About 1.5 miles on your right is the 2nd location of Mickey's Diner.
Says the helmet kid who started his own thread because he didn't like where the current one was going. Do you read your own posts?![]()
I meant to exclude you because you don't act like a toolbox.

There's an IHOP across Killebrew Dr. from the MOA. I don't know if there's such a thing as a good IHOP, so I can't comment.
Never impressed with IHOPs. Edit: I think they are vastly overrated. I'd stick with Denny's. They know they are just Denny's.![]()
And where does Perkins fall on the greasy spoon continuum? For breakfast, we're talking.

They're not bad, but they used to be better. My brother used to work there as a cook in the 80's, while in high school. He said that when he started there they'd use real cheese, but then there was a corporate mandate (his location was corporate owned) to move to an imitation cheese product in the sauces. The kitchen staff revolted, kept using real cheese. I think they kept on that sort of track for a while but are now back to more of a quality ingredient push. Now they just need to get quality cooks. And where does Perkins fall on the greasy spoon continuum? For breakfast, we're talking.
Perkins is the "Bland" Spoon, not the Greasy Spoon. They are OK and safe, but not inspiring in any way. Jr likes the Tremendous 12 or the Hungry Man's Breakfast there.
