Just gonna say it: UND week on the D1 page is like gouging out my eyeballs with a melon baller. They should hand out hemorrhoid cushions at REA for the amount of butthurt they have. I'd rather deal with the Minny fans.

Says the helmet kid who started his own thread because he didn't like where the current one was going. Do you read your own posts? :p

Good morning Lodge.

Why do people ask "how are you doing?" if they don't want the truthful answer? Today I've been answering with, "sick. It feels like my throat was raped by a pinecone". Not many people appreciate that response.
This made me laugh. Great description. People who don't like it do not understand eloquent speech.

RPI's jersey for this evening's Black Tuesday game https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BXxZ6sFCYAAFmPo.jpg:large.

Maryland & Oregon are laughing. :D
Well, I can say it made my eyes hurt

Did he qualify for the state or district meets?
THey run is Districts- 2 weeks, that determines All-States

My situation is so much the opposite. They aren't even considering elevating me. This weekend I'm going over the OPM manual and writing up a point by point justifcation that I meet various criteria.

For the longest time it was believed a paper was necessary. I get a paper as lead author into the top journal based on a project that was requested by the director that ended up being very complex.

My guess is this is going to go over like a lead brick. The question is, is my division chief holding me back, OPM holding back cause of budget, or have I not done enough.

My former (retired) boss was shocked that I wasn't promoted.

Is it bad that I google searches about what home inspectors do.

I have no confidence that I'm going to advance in my career outside of a very lonely battle w management and myself. The latter because if I'm mostly operating independently then its w/o useful experienced support.

And they wonder why people leave here. Take the person who completed the highest profile division project in five plus years and let him twist.

Edit: this also comes off of a very complicated project to revise the agency's biggest product
I have decided I want to work at Burger King. You get paid to let them "Have it your way" and the management takes all the crap. (And no one would be thinking they are going to get narcotics at the end of the day, because I should understand they are desperate , need the drugs and can't come in for an appt!!1!1!!!!")

A tie but definitely the *HT.
You would have thought the shirts would have stunned the other team into submission

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #170: Fair Weather

Ditching those atrocious arm stripes and side panels would be a significant improvement.
I think RPI's color scheme is tough to screw up. Most of their jerseys are sharp and they have a mascot who is a puck wearing a helmet. That's tough to screw up.

But I see that they did...

Yikes! What are those for, jousting tournaments? What-ho! and Forsooth!

:D

I couldn't find a picture of the rear view of the jersey except for during the game, but the only thing that was really visible there while the players were moving was the word "Engineers". Truly an awful jersey. Note also that the stars at the top of the stockings match the ones at the bottom of the jersey sleeves.

Those striped sleeves make me think the arms should extend Inspector Gadget style. Go go gadget poke check.
