I saw on Tweeter that Blackberry Smoke is playing the Varsity Theater on February 1st. Obviously I impulsed bought 4 tickets. Luckily 4 tickets to Blackberry Smoke cost the same as 1 to Strait/Church. For those of you not familiar with Blackberry Smoke, I wouldn't call them country. They're very bluesy in a 70's-80's southern rock kinda way. They're much more like CCR than Garth Brooks. I have 4 tickets, so if anyone in the Twin Cities want to go (cough) MNS and Brent (cough) :D

Hey Twitch, if I paypal'd you the money, would you be able to ship me an empty growler from Glacier Brewhouse? We're using growlers as part of our centerpieces for the wedding, and we need a growler from a different brewery for each of the 35 tables. We want as many as possible from breweries that we've already been to, and we didn't get one from Glacier when we were up there. Let me know if you'd be able to help me out. Thanks!

Another good day. Beautiful scenery in a State Park to watch lil race. Drove by a bunch of very still ponds with gorgeous colored trees. I like the warmth of summer but Fall is eye candy.

oh, and Lil won again. He looked so smooth. He isn't a little kid anymore.

Nah.

As busy as work as been, I'm flying solo at the offsite until next Tuesday. This...I don't mind. Not at all. Less time (if any at all) at the main building. Plus, I start a little earlier, so the main building is less likely to have to send any help over. It's some easy OT, which is nice. It really is like being your own boss. :)

Yeah, there's nothing like a clock malfunctioning to make everybody hate you. I ran a clock at a squirt game last year -- trying to help out, you know! -- and something went haywire when the 1st period ended: couldn't get the horn to stop. I tried everything. The coaches all came over -- cause everybody's run a clock at some point -- nobody could get it to stop. We ended up unplugging it. In the meantime, though, everybody in the stands was yelling. "Turn it offfff!" TURN IT OOOOOOOFFFFFFF!!!!!!" Yeah, thanks. Why didn't *I* think of that?
