I am sorry that your ramen and the mac and cheese is ruined.

You guys all probably think that's what I eat every day!:p I actually work to make sure I can eat what I please and have the luxury of spending a little extra cash on stuff that is better than Mac and ramen.

I have a roommate who eats two boxes of Mac and cheese a day.

Lipton Pasta Sides are better. Worth the price.

Good Morning Lodge.

Isn't there still a singles thread? ;)
I bumped it a while back. Some namby pamby whinebaby from Minnesota just hasn't elected to use it. ;)

There are times when being a parent sucks and you wonder what ever happened to the character you thought you were trying to build in your child. This is one of those times where, if we lived on a farm in a rural setting, he would belong in the barn with the donkeys.
What did your husband's son do now??

Just remember Les, I'm going to be putting hay up soon here and I'm always on the lookout for fresh help with it. I could put him up in a stall for a while to hopefully let him realize just how wonderful and great he's got it there, and that he should knock it off with all of that silly pretentious teenage angst and shibby there. :D

Quite honestly, not sure who all still reads the thing, and appreciate the input I get here.:p

Tonight was good. Had drinks with friends, talked with some girls, etc. nothing too crazy, but I enjoyed myself.

Now to fall asleep before I start thinking about things.:o

And when it comes to women and relationships, Almsy has done some exceedingly stupid things. And why I've ended up in relationship exile on Dagobah.
Well, as long as you aren't on the Death Star. Maybe some day you will end up on Endor.

Sadly, I seriously thought about how close you were and whether this would be a viable option before I came to my senses and realized it wouldn't be possible.

Still on the slow cold burn. Grr. Already have the team choc chip cookies in the oven for their bus ride home. I may not get satisfaction from my kid but the rest of the kids think I am OK

You should do something like make him serve them to his teammates. Wearing an apron or something.

Morning Lodge. Woke up yesterday in Lake Placid with the beginnings of a headache. Flight back on the very tiny prop plane didn't help, though I managed to sleep a little. Made it back to the office, decided I was just going to do one or two quick things and head home to sleep when I realized I left my iPad on the plane. Grrrrrr! Called the airline, they got in touch with someone at Logan and found it. I had to back to the airport and get it. Took a cab home from there. Slept for three hours, woke up, watched a little hockey, then some recorded shows and went back to bed. Woke up again with a headache. Gonna take an Imitrex after I eat something.

Going to visit a friend today who had a baby back in September. I've seen her more than once but have not yet seen her baby. At least in person. Looking forward to it and I hope my headache is gone by the time I head out there.

It will work out in the end. A few ups and downs in between are bound to happen. It is frustrating though but I just think back to when I was that age and then I calm down. Sometimes the Wife has to remind me about my misspent youth and then I thank god he isn't like I was :)

Spent all week in So. Maine, hate living in a hotel while working but its work so I shouldn't complain

I don't think I've ever watched a part of an episode of friends. Never been much for regular TV shows. If I watch TV, it usually revolves around sports or whatever is on late on food network, discovery, etc.

Back to being a half social person for 28 days.
Same with me. I watch Food Network, Cooking Channel, Game Show Network, and USA. Haven't watched a network TV show since Scrubs.

Wally- I was an angel in HS. That probably doesn't help his cause. In college....that was a different story. In HS my father would have "knocked me into next week and planted me head down like an onion"

Good morning Lodge.

Gloomy day here in 320ville.

Having a birthday party for little g today. In a couple hours there is going to be about 10 crazy kindergartners running around the house.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #167: Weather

Good morning Lodge. Rainy morning here (we need the rain - wildfires the past few days).

Dropped Jr off at the sailing center about 8. Mrs and I will head back out as it's supposed to clear up soon so they can sail.

Planted head head down like an onion.....that is funny!
Mornin'. Terrible weather here. Gloomy, rainy, ugh.

I like morning storms/rain....and it should clear up by noon.
