Agreed. I mean, Pete on Mad Men is totally unlikable, but he's at least hilarious to watch....

Usually I love the annoying characters - Frank Burns, George Costanza, Ted Baxter.... - but Ross just had a huge punch me sign on his forehead.

Again, I totally agree. The last half of the series, the characters really stopped developing, and became total caricatures of themselves. It was horrible and lazy writing.

Me? The last movie that I saw was The Hobbit. :D

Hey Ralph, If you're still acting as the official Lodge Archivist/Scorekeeper, earlier this evening I gave MountieBoyOz a rep which sent him from "Much To Be Proud Of" to "Brilliant Future." It's might be my first playoff goal. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #167: Weather

Gosh darn there's a lot to keep up with in teh ol Lodge.

1)
mookie's got two fine quotes in every post he makes. both movies are easily identifiable. they are high on his top whatever list :D

What ever happened to the "I Love LA" quote?

2)
Boss: You made a mistake yesterday. We now do (insert procedure) and since you didn't do that, an error was made.
Me: When did this new thing start?
Boss: a couple weeks ago, you weren't at the meeting when we implemented this new procedure, so you didn't know. But the error still counts.

It's just -- we're putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now.

3)
I own quite a few pairs of shoes. More than I would like to admit.

See now, that's because you're a man with style. Don't back down! We have to fight slovenliness foxhole by foxhole! Or something like that!1!

A little trivia on Pete, Vincent Kartheiser, the actor who plays Pete, is a Minneapolis kid. I watched him when he was younger, on the show Angel.

The whole bit with Monica in a fat suit as a girl, just horrible. And yes, the first few seasons were fun. There was the occasional episodes later in the run that were good, but most of them were not. Thankfully, I only ever watched it in reruns, so I didn't make any plans around they're airings.

I did. :(

And didn't know Pete was a local. Huh. He was also good in "In Time."

I've been talking to a few girls the last couple of days. Feels wrong and weird. But it's progress, I suppose.

*ing work.

Yeah, *ing great. Thanks alot, *hole.
Dom Portwood: Hi, Peter. What's happening? We need to talk about your TPS reports.
Peter Gibbons: Yeah. The coversheet. I know, I know. Uh, Bill talked to me about it.
Dom Portwood: Yeah. Did you get that memo?
Peter Gibbons: Yeah. I got the memo. And I understand the policy. And the problem is just that I forgot the one time. And I've already taken care of it so it's not even really a problem anymore.
Dom Portwood: Ah! Yeah. It's just we're putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. So if you could go ahead and try to remember to do that from now on, that'd be great. All right!
Just to pile on.....

Especially when I still want the relationship. *sigh*
If she doesn't want you or where you want to be in the future, then its just not ever going to work out with you guys. Better off cutting bait now, and trying to end things as friends. Her loss in the long run.

I agree. It's just painful. It also confuses me and gives me (false) hope as she's told me numerous times she still loves me and still sees herself being with me forever.

I'm strong throughout most of the day. Then I seem to get weak at night. Weaker than I ever could've imagined. I hate myself for it too, because I've always been a strong person.

I also don't like posting this stuff here because I know it's annoying, but it helps. It gives me an outlet and support from people who have various experiences I'm relationships. I hope you all forgive me and I thank you all for the support!

I haven't recorded a goal in two years, but I still try to keep track of membership, so I will add it.

Post away.

The rebound girl is awkward and weird feeling, but it speeds things up. Terrible to say, but it's true.
