Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #167: Weather

As typical for a woman, your list is wrong, except for Army of Darkness. Unless you were simply listing the five movies that Mavsy could quote line for line.

Please see below for important quotes from the movies I listed
Army of Darkness -this is my BOOM stick
Bring It On -Dude, you just lost (important for mocking opposing fans..once used by my roommate and I on a puckhead taunting the Michigan goalie at the CCHA Super 6)
Legally Blonde -what, like it's hard? (important for mocking Rico Blasi on the Twitters, after he congratulated his senior class on making it to the Joe all 4 years)
Rocky 5,000 (I don't know any quotes 'cause it's not a movie yet, but it was joked about in Spaceballs, so it will be an awesome movie when we get there)
She's the Man - oh my god, you're hurt? I mean, be a man, suck it up, rub some dirt on it (what's not to love about a modern take on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night starring Amanda Bynes?) Ninja goalie!

And while I do quote the 4 movies listed above that exist, I would not put them on a must see list

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #167: Weather

Howdy kids and greetings from Lake Placid, NY. Just had a full day of touring the Olympic facilities. Ended in the Herb Brooks Arena. I couldn't talk, it that awesome. And we all got 1980 USA hockey replica jerseys with our names on them. What a cool place. Heading out to dinner in a bit. In my room charging my phone and camera.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #167: Weather

People that name their kids stupid names like this should have the baby promptly taken away from them. They don't deserve to reproduce.

Seven, now that's a good name.

So glad Mother Nature is back on her Prozac. Busy couple days, put the dock & lift in Tuesday night and softball (codeword for drinking beer) last night.

*ing work.

Boss: You made a mistake yesterday. We now do (insert procedure) and since you didn't do that, an error was made.
Me: When did this new thing start?
Boss: a couple weeks ago, you weren't at the meeting when we implemented this new procedure, so you didn't know. But the error still counts.

Yeah, *ing great. Thanks alot, *hole.

The meeting was at the main building, and my co-worker and I are at offsite, Junior! :p

I brought that up, and the mgmt knows they don't tell us stuff, they keep forgetting. Yeah. Apparently we're going to start getting daily updates on the meetings now.

Good evening Lodge.

Had a blast in cityslickerville Tuesday. Went to the Twins game. Sat first row behind the Sox dug out. Good times.

Regarding Friends.........I have only seen a few episodes. Besides sports, I am not much of a tv watcher.

I own quite a few pairs of shoes. More than I would like to admit.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #167: Weather

I have seen all the eps of Friends (although I regret pretty much the last half of the series, but I wanted to see how it ended, dammit!). Lesson learned (see: HIMYM, which I gave up on...about halfway through the series).

The early episodes were actually quite funny.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #167: Weather

First season was funny but I lost interest in a hurry after that. There may not have been a more annoying & unlikable TV character than Ross.

Agreed. I mean, Pete on Mad Men is totally unlikable, but he's at least hilarious to watch....
