No, I've just been busy with projects around the house.

I'm not going to be on the ice again until either late this year or sometime into 2014, depending upon how my shoulder surgery goes. Add to that, I messed up my knee about 6 or 7 weeks ago, and I've not skated since then. The knee really hurts when I'm making turns, otherwise it's only sore. A compression wrap helps when I'm on my feet for long periods of time.

Ended up taking lady friend to the driving range, we hit balls for an hour, putted for awhile, it was awesome. 75 and sunny here too. Life is turning back around...love it.

Got home from worked and caught the end of a Styx concert (from 2010) on Palladia, I thought is was Spinal Tap live. Not sounding good. At all.

The band as a whole or the singer? I saw something on VH1's Behind the Music, or some other such show, that they dropped the lead singer from their recordings in the 70's and 80's because of health issues in the late 90's.

I remember at least one guy left the band.....they even looked like Spinal Tap.

Civility, please! You might not like reading about DU sports, and that's fine, but Lodgers shouldn't throw insults every time they read a post that bores them. Silence is better in such cases.

Dennis DeYoung was indeed dropped. There is some conversation over whether or not it was voluntary.

For the record, I can go to 11 for effect while staying calm. That being said not all instances of 11 are calm instances.

Everyone has posts that they find annoying. I believe that a thread already exists to complain about things that annoy you.
