If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been a couple?
Just over a year..

And Ray, I don't know. Her sister has even told me she thinks she has some stuff to figure out, but that she still sees us being together long term.

Basically, she's been in a funk for a couple of weeks. Girls are weird, it's happened with some of my friends. More times than not, its made the relationship stronger once both can take a step back and realize how to work together and make the relationship even stronger.

The kid's 20 years old, and Cheers ended its run in 1993. Just saying. It's all his fault.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #166; And Now On To....

We had a kid drive his tractor to school as a joke for the last day. No one cared.

Nowadays the school would be evacuated and he'd be cuffed in the parking lot and suspended for the next year.

/I'll say it again: 1989 Twitch could not have made it through the 2013 school system
I was kind of tempted to do that myself. Even though its not really all that impressive of a tractor that what bb_dl is used to, only a ford 2120 with a front loader bucket. Parents weren't all that keen on the idea, and little brother thought that he should then get to drive my car to school that day.

I think my senior day/last day of school, there was grilling in the parking lot before school, and someone rolled a bowling ball down the hallway towards bowling pins (friend worked at an alley, and got permission from his boss to borrow the pins).

I don't think that'd fly today.

I watched some Cheers reruns at ages 10-12! I actually kind of liked it!

I've seen every Cheers ep at least 3 times. Obviously first run, and then syndication for years. Hell, one of my childhood friends is nicknamed "Norm" due to him sitting in the same seat every day at the sports card shop we hung out at in our youth. Said shop was also first set up like the Cheers bar (counter was in the center, seats all around). Yes, this was due to the show. We knew (and still are friends) with the (now former, as said shop is defunct) owners.

We had a senior skip day. I missed it because I was to hung over from the day/night before. Woke up at my best friends house. Staggered out of bed early afternoon and the house was empty as the parents were working. I was craving milk and i was hung over really really bad. Opened the fridge and took out the milk and started chugging it right out of the carton in front of the open fridge. Milk was expired by about three weeks. Blew chow all over the inside of the fridge. Took out the vacuum and cleaned it out. To this day my friends mom still gives me shiat about that.

Didn't know you had that in you!;)

I played very hard in high school. Very very hard. My class was crazy as well. When we were freshman in high school the seniors would come to us to see where the party was going to be. True. .

Well, this WAS during Prohibition....

One time my parents left town on vacation and left me alone with the house. Decided to have a few select friends over for beverages. Before long the yard was packed with cars and the house was full. Full of people I didn't know and things were getting crazy. I had to call the cops on my own party.....

I personally didn't have parties at my home, but was part of a 4-man crew who had parties at one of their houses when his mom was away on business. I guess you could say "organizers/"security"/etc. We have had to do that. Sucks, but part of the risk.

Back when doing so was smart. Now you get a bunch of kids with $177 tickets.

I never drank any alcohol in high school until my hockey career was finished. I was a two year captain, and I devoted myself to playing forever. Wanted to play college, but was cut by the Fresno Monsters in fall training camp. This put me into MSU where I've done alright.

Many of my friends have been drinking since our sophomore year of high school. Almost all of them, really.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #166; And Now On To....

I maybe had a drink or two (literally) at any given party we threw. Just wasn't into the drinking thing (hated beer until I was about legal age), and didn't have the taste for the hard stuff until college. I was the "cooler" at the parties, that sort of thing.

I drank and partied hard when it was time to do so. Surrounded myself with good people. Got good grades. Captain of hockey team. Went to college to slow things down a bit...........;)
