I hate how the offseason came out of nowhere. Just bam, it's done.

This may sound weird, but I didn't even get the "satisfaction" of seeing my team's last game. I didn't get to go through all the heartbreak of seeing them lose. It's like there's something missing from the closure of the end of the season.

Totally understand. Seeing the players and coaches after that last loss, "saying goodbye and thank you" to the seniors or kids who may leave.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's nice to have the chance to say, "Thanks for nothing you underachieving bas/tards. Don't let the door hit you in your a/s/s on your way to boarding your bus to the AHL."
