Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #162: Love Is In the Air

I'm sure he left all his guns home, also his pick-up and 4-wheeler so he's left with just his bare hands and a rental car for killing someone/something. I say just even odds he gets in trouble for it. If he had his PU and guns, it would be much more likely.
We have a driver, no rental car. There is absolutely no chance we would have made it here if we had to drive ourselves. There is absolutely no signage, and so much road construction/closures with no marked detours that our driver got lost and had to ask for directions. Google said it would take 3 hours to drive from Mumbai to Pune, 3 hours after getting in the car we were still in Mumbai.

For touristy stuff, we went to see the Gate of India, the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel (where the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks took place), Marine Drive and the Old Bombay train station. Stopped at some shops and bought some souvenirs and gifts for my girlfriend and my mom.

I didn't bring my hat, mookie. I wasn't going to deal with that thing for 20 hours of flights. I do have my boots, though. I didn't wear them today, I wore shorts and athletic shoes, since it was 95 degrees out. On our way to Pune we drove past a place called Monty's Country Bar, I should have had the driver stop. :D

Morning.

Sposed to hear about the job "early this week". The earlier the better i say. I hate not knowing.

Need to go shopping for shorts and swim trunks for Hawaii this week. Hopefully I will also need to go dress clothes shopping.

Also, we were driven through the slums where Slumdog Millionaire took place. The movie sugar coated it.

The driver would have gotten bombed out of his mind on the local hooch and you would have to drive yourselves back.

No hat, but has his ****kickers. I would say 3 to 1 odds he maims somebody over there.

If the guys at work think I'm usually surly, I hope they're ready for 14 days of pain. I am in a foul mood that I don't see myself coming out of anytime soon.

Good morning Lodge.

I could use a refill.

Biddco gave me some red condolence rep. I am sure it was a mistake but feel free to respond to it as you wish....... :D:):p;)
I like to shake things up a little bit :D

Mookie HATES the dentist. That is all.

Mookie has also worn shorts and his boots. Just saying ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #162: Love Is In the Air

Lame.

I was actually looking forward to presenting my slide during the company wide meeting. Unfortunately, our notification system stinks. I was unaware the meeting was today (11:30-12) until I went to drop something off in test at 11:55 and noticed no one was in any of the production rooms. A quick e-mail to those of us that have e-mail would be great. Or a sign on this half of the building. Usually, there are signs up on the bathroom doors and usually they are up for at least a day.

So, I feel stupid for missing the meeting where I was supposed to present information. Then my boss asks if I missed the meeting and I explain that I didn't know about the meeting, and he still thinks it is my fault for missing it.

Snow, that would be nice. It is 95 degrees here.

I'll be in Mexico starting Sunday. Forecast calls for high 70's and low 80's.. 63 or so at night. Beautiful weather.

Going from 25 to 95 would be quite the jump..especially when you're not on a beach with choice beverages.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #162: Love Is In the Air

Yeah... I don't know either...:p

Beautiful heavy snow right now. We need as much moisture as we can get the next couple months.
Snow falling where you live doesn't do much good. It's the snow falling up river from you that does the most good. When the snow melts in MN, the ground is generally too hard to absorb the moisture. During the winter months, your local farmers will benefit most from the snow falling to the north. During the spring months, during ground thaw, a snowfall is somewhat useful. Rain is better.

Instead he's staring at sacred, walking steaks.

Family farm is 70 miles south of here.;)

I was thinking more along the lakes around here and the amount of water they need. They were very, very low last year.
