Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #162: Love Is In the Air

It must be an exceptionally bad month for MEg.

ETA: goldy, one of my coworkers has a kid that plays Bantam B2 for Eden Prairie. They're playing the top Edina team tonight in New Prague.

I received rep to a thread that no longer exists. I don't know what my reaction was or which thread. It might have been the faux PotY poll.

That is the exact reaction I had. -wT............................................................wolverineTrumpet

Woke up just in time to find the Wild-Hawks game streaming. Unfortunately I'll have to go eat and then work before the game ends.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #162: Love Is In the Air

Good Morning Lodge.

Kinda slow commute. Took 45 instead of 25 minutes.

Jr has a snow day for his school. Good thing, it was kinda late night for him last night. His game finished about 9 (they won, he scored) and it was 10 before we got home. Tonight will be similar, playing another Edina team. One of our kids had his collar bone broken last night on what I thought should have been a boarding call. The game got pretty chippy and they had one player ejected after racking up 5 penalties. Hope jr can get the snowblower started.
How hard is it to start a shovel?? ;)

Did a good thing today, and got an unexpected bonus from the boss from it as well. This morning I was getting a trade from a coworker, and saw that 2 other coworkers both had openings for both spots last night as well, so I asked Mom if she wanted to come with and it would be my treat. Anyways, we go in, get our massages, I come out to pay. We get one hour sessions for free every month with the idea that we work our way around everybody to see what everybody's style is about, and I usually upgrade the session to make it a 90, and I just pay for the upgrade. Anyways, while we was in the room, the boss called in and told em to comp mom's session for me, so I only had to pay for my upgrade. I love my job!! :D

YessireeeBob!
I will be at every Class AA game at The X and might go tomorrow night, too. :)
Last year The Tourney was over my spring break. All throughout middle and high school I haven't missed a game at the X. Tomorrow will be the first time in 6 years. I may sell my Friday night session and am for sure selling Saturday night tickets due to North Dakota playing their last WCHA series in Mankato. (as most of you know, I began rooting for the Sioux at a very young age; favorite color was green, I absolutely loved hockey, and I've been going to Final Fives since 1998 at Target Center. Also have had Maverick season tickets over the same time period. Needless to say, this weekend is interesting.)
