Seeming I am the "team leader" I have to be there at 5:40, which means getting up at 4:00. Sucks to be me, but when doesn't it? Pretty used to it at this point. Ditch digger it is.

I just looked at the bottom of the standings in my kid's team's district. We think we are bad because in 4 of our 15 games we have lost our "Fair Play Point." You lose this point by getting someone - player, coach or parent - ejected, or taking too many penalty minutes. It takes a LOT of penalties or a big one like checking from behind to lose these points. The bottom team in our league has played 16 games and lost their FPP in 9 of them. Their head coach needs to find something else to do in the winter. No excuse for these kids to lose the FPP more than half the time. They are being coached to play like that. When we played them we lost our point because the refs called many offsetting penalties and a LOT of penalties.

Mookie is at a hockey rink in Lawrence because its school vacation week and somebody figured since the kids are off they can schedule games during the week - morons
