Terrible, terrible, terrible "hockey" game. Even if MN won, this was an abortion of an abortion. Needless to say, I'm at the *HT, but this time it's more the whole sport of hockey, rather than this particular game.
Junior. Yes, he is all about running. Now if he could find a way to be breathing when it counts things would be goodLes, lil is a soph, right? Sounds like he found his sport
I tried to be optimistic as we got closer to the game but after watching a few minutes of the Notre Dame - Miami game I knew it wasn't going to end well for Minny.
That being said my dad had some Bushmill's left so the afternoon wasn't a complete loss.![]()
I don't even care about the loss. We split on the road. It's a bigger picture of the representation of the sport that peeves me, and some are not getting that. I'm still riled up, after unplugging for a couple hours to watch a meh movie.
But......but.......but......but....there was Bushmill's!![]()
They need to put an end to these outdoor games. The novelty wore off a while ago, and the weather is proving why indoor games are better. The sight lines for those in attendance are horrible, when the sun started setting the stadium lights made it look about as bright as Magness on the ice - at best - and the rink crew had to bust out freaking giant blowtorches to keep resettle patches of ice. And Chicago's too warm of a climate for outdoor games anyway - especially in mid-February.Terrible, terrible, terrible "hockey" game. Even if MN won, this was an abortion of an abortion. Needless to say, I'm at the *HT, but this time it's more the whole sport of hockey, rather than this particular game.
That's what cat fights are for...News, the types of artists we are hate each other. She is drawing and painting, while I am graphics. They will never learn. [/rant]
Good Morning, Lodge!
So I called it a mile away. We met up with Mr. wore Black's parents yesterday for lunch. They have a friend of the family that they always meet up with. I told the hubby last week that I guarantee that they will be unexpectedly invited to the birthday lunch and as usual, we will find out at the last minute. Sure enough, we are sitting at the restaurant, the in-laws' car pulls in, and there is the friend of the family. At least they didn't bring the 6 year old with. If they did, I would have left. It was at least courteous of the friend to apologize for crashing the birthday lunch.
The reason why my in-laws think their friend and I get along is because we are both artists. News, the types of artists we are hate each other. She is drawing and painting, while I am graphics. They will never learn. [/rant]
