Good Morning Lodge - oh and *HT last night. :mad:

Kids lost in the afternoon (3-1 to the other Edina team) and then Gophers last night. Have to get to the rink for a 3rd place game at 10:40 AM.

Thinking about taking a half day tomorrow morning. Supposed to get some rain/snow mix tonight and MNDOT has been sucking big time in clearing the roads this year. Just don't want to have to deal with the mess getting in on a sloppy Monday, plus I have nothing real urgent to work on.

Morning. Couple of buddies are in the Port of Tampa on their ship, so going to pick them up at noon and go out for beers and lunch.

Ha! That reminded me of how when you order coffee with milk you have to say "ave du lait", meaning with some milk. I'm glad I learned it that way -- would've hated to get all the milk in the world brought to my table. :p

Or the BU-Lowell hockey game, last regular season game of 1985. No fans. To get in to cover it, you had to produce your birth certificate to get a press pass. It had the famous game note from the legendary Ed Carpenter "There are more donuts in the press box than people." That was the first measles outbreak.

Reading the Eastern Bias Blizzard thread. Kind of jealous that we haven't gotten that kind of snow here in Michigan. Lakes could really use that kind of snow to fill em back up, and well, I really want a snow storm where I really push the tractor to its limits in moving snow.

Yay! Hockey on TV! I caught up on all my dvr'd shows yesterday and am not in the mood to watch a movie.

Our dish is only getting one of two satellites right now. Not snowing that hard so I may have go brush off the dish. Getting the hockey. Game though.

Our church dinner was today and it was surprisingly good, usually these taste like glorified school lunches to me. The Boss and I got home and skied around the neighborhood for 30-40 minutes, perfect day for it.
