I really like how when mookie spreads rep, he's telling you why he's spreading it. :D

I've heard that flight simulator software got so good (even before recent years) that people with experience playing them can land the plane in at least one case

Pocket Planes isn't a flight sim, it's one of those annoyingly addictive casual iPhone games where you manage an airline, plan flights, manage expansion to other cities, etc.

I'd suspect the free roaming Grand Theft Auto type games from the 3D generation do a solid job of teaching navigational skills. Heck, lots of MMORPGs today have fully working in-game economies with functioning supply and demand.

Isn't SimCity where Herman Cain got his 9-9-9 plan? ;)

Looks like the Vegas trip is pushed back to early April. If I'm lucky, it will be Vegas-Frozen 4 back-to-back.

Got home just in time for the fire alarm... Nice

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #159: Lodge's Attitude Toward Christmas/Holidays

you are going to pittsburgh?
Still undecided, but it is definitely on my radar. Just out of curiosity I looked up a multi-destination trip, MSP-LAS, vegas for 4 days, Vegas-Pitt in time for the frozen 4, and flying back to MSP on Sunday, and the cost was only $600, which means only $100 out of my pocket with my voucher.

You effed up. Sorta. The bad news is that the blizzard (that you put in a word for) is going south and will miss the target by a couple hundred miles. The good news is that little gII is coming down with a nasty cold and because of that we might have to stay home.......Not sure what you requested to the big guy but it might work out in the end.

I asked for a gross, sloppy, blowing mess. Maybe I was too vague . . .
:D

It's a worthy cause, I have to say!

The new Miss Universe is a BU student!

Congrats, S! ;)

Beach ball but I am not going to go there.

Actuallly, little gII is doing ok. He is scheduled to get tubes put in at 7:30 tomorrow morning as long as the anesthesiologist says its ok ( he had tubes put in last February but he is once again getting ear infections).

IF BSU makes it to the frozen four this year I am fairly certain that I would be able to make the trip this time.
