Currently hanging at Caribou with little g as a reward for his great report card.

He da man!

Greetings from a different tree stand.

Now there's a remark you don't hear every day.

Home early from work! Currently chilling with a New Belgium Frambozen (raspberry brown ale) waiting for bbdl and MNS to show up before we head to TK's. The day is looking up!

Here as well! Just got back from my 9-yr-old's hockey practice. House smells fantastic, since the wife is in Teh Cooking Zone. Warming beverages are flowing. And we just fired up NHL Slapshot on the Wii. Living the dream, baby!

Drove up north for turkey day. Check. Settled into the hotel. Check. Little g blowing chow in the lobby. Check.

They re-dubbed the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

Not. Happy.

Does this usually happen during travelling? The part about the heave-ho'ing in the lobby?

Good Morning Lodge.

Dropped Jr off in Greyeagle's neighborhood (I think - it was Cretin-Derham Hall school) at 5:30. He is helping out a group who are making and delivering Thanksgiving meals to people in need. He's just directing traffic for the delivery folks.

Put turkey in the smoker at about 4:30 with apple wood. Going to go add alder chips soon, injected the bird with garlic oil and rubbed it with spices last night.

Now to read the Black Friday ads...

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Good Morning, Lodge!

Made it to my parent's house last night. I think Mario Cart can drive better than the people in Woodbury. Now to pick Mr. wore Black at the airport.

Happy Thanksgiving...as God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.

Not quite.....I'm more in Piper country. The lass is a JR Raider so we're in the 'hodd a lot and the lad volunteered for the CDH T-Day meal deal when he was a Cadet.

Mornin'.
So, is it bad when the rent-a-cop recognizes you from a month or so ago? :D

Different context: he coaches (or helps coach) his kid's hockey team. We all bs'd with him about that before. Had a very fun night last night, Johnny Holm always delivers the goods.
