ANOTHER FARKING WINDSTORM FOR ANCHORAGE?!

That's it. Get the bucket of kittens and the PK Ditty (Skrillex Remix.) Every time it gusts above 40, hit play and start frying.

I made soup tonight! I made what I'm calling Polish soup. I started with onions, green peppers, celery, and carrots sauteed up in butter, added some cubed kielbasa and ham and a whole bunch of proprietary seasonings, then added a chopped cabbage. I deglazed the pot with a dark beer, and topped off the pot with chicken stock. It turned out outstanding, and I impressed the girlfriend. :)

Good evening Lodge.

Back to civilization today after spending the weekend camping in a tent with both boys. Well sort of. Friday was fun. Woke up Saturday morning to 30 degrees but the boys thought it was awesome that they could see their breath when they woke up. Our camping trip made a little detour Saturday night though. There was a group camping about 50 yards away and they were partying pretty good Saturday evening/Sunday morning. About 20 loud people and even louder music. Both boys were tossing and turning and eventually they got up and they were fussy. I grabbed the boys and some other essential items and we took off and checked into a hotel. It was about 2:30 am. Good times.

It just seems so dumb. How do they change the laws of physics for the whole earth?
We just watched the pilot the other night on demand. It was pretty dumb.

I already hate the lead actress and the pilot was only 45 minutes. Also, right at the beginning they make a point to say "the laws of physics went crazy." I guess that's their pass to do whatever they want.

About what I figured, glad I didn't waste my time. Then again, I've been psissed at the show since they played the trailer over the Olympics.

"Polish soup" sounds like code for water... or maybe vodka. :p

Evening, Lodge.

Yeah, He's doing all right for pretty much being a one hit wonder who has a trendy hat. ;)
One hit wonder? He has had 4 #1 singles, and none of them are the song you think is his one hit.
Also, 1 hit wonders don't headline arena tours.

I think he sings one of the 2-3 current-ish country songs I actually like.

two people had those trinkets that "turn on" electricity. Huh? So apart everyone has one? Like an iPhone?

Jeff Megall: Sony has a futuristic sci-fi movie they're looking to make.
Nick Naylor: Cigarettes in space?
Jeff Megall: It's the final frontier, Nick.
Nick Naylor: But wouldn't they blow up in an all oxygen environment?
Jeff Megall: Probably. But it's an easy fix. One line of dialogue. 'Thank God we invented the... you know, whatever device.'
