Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

Had a significant methodological breakthrough at work... At least a few papers over the next couple of years... My reaction... Somebody MUST have done this already... But they haven't. I just might have to stick around longer. Become big in this and I'll be worth that much more.

Sorry to change topics, but do they still do the carnival with all the rides at the lakefront in Bemidji? Or is it just beer tent and bingo now? Its been a while since I've been up there for the 4th and all the kiddie rides and mini-golf are long gone. Grew up on that lake so I miss it sometimes.

Same carnival set up as years past. Only exception as you noted is the amusement park that was set up in the summer in Bemidji is gone.

Part of the deal for building the Sanford Center is that part of the revenue generated with the sales tax goes to parks. Bemidji is putting some big bucks in building parks. Soon that area by the lake will be developed into a really nice park.

Just got some pics from the storm that hit Bemidji. A third of the trees at Diamond Point Park are gone.

Went to see Ted tonight. Two thumbs up.

Guess who's building had all the fans, A/Cs, and air circulators we sold today? Yep, this guy's. We got our arses handed to us today. Usually I head over to the main building between 4:30-5:15, on a normal day, and the other guy has a 50/50 shot of going home straight from the off-site. Not today. We both headed over to the main building at 6. Then worked about another 90 minutes. JFC. No holiday slowdown here.

Good morning Lodge. It's raining at the moment. It's supposed to stop, which is promising. Last night's show was great! Hoping for more of the same today. Have a safe and happy 4th everyone!

Good Morning Lodge.

Scarlet, I hope the weather is better for your show tonight.

I will try to not to put my eye out or lose any fingers tonight while lighting illegal devices in my back yard. I also hope the smoked pork shoulder turns out better than it did the last time...

Here too a bit, and as I was coming home there were police cars on every corner around where I live. Obama's motorcade must be coming through.

Because you touch yourself at night?

Morning, Lodge. Gonna grill some dead animals at the parents' this afternoon with the whole family. I don't think we'll blow anything up, but there will be ice cold brews. So, 2 outta 3 ain't bad. And yeah, it's hot. I feel bad for BPH, as I believe he'll be wearing the ol' wool uniform at Fort Snelling. Outside.

Happy Independence Day, Lodjers!

In the words of Abraham Lincoln, "Be excellent to each other. And, party on, dudes!"

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #152: Next to get married?

So, I rolled my ankle real good yesterday. Bone on the outside of my foot is extremely tender. Hurts to support my whole weight. Just have to remember my father's advice in these situations growing up.

"Don't do that, then."

Headed back down south to Houston. Turned in all the paperwork requested by the loan officer last night, hopefully that goes without a hitch so I can close 3 weeks from now!

Happy hockey table. :)

Me too, but it's an all in move that if it doesn't work will cripple the team for the next decade. Always a chance that the NHL rejects the contracts for whatever reason too.
