Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #149 - Best adaptation of a movie title-and the lodgie goes
What. A. Day.
What. A. Day.
You're an all star.![]()
Good one.My kids love that song. We play it all the time and they sing and dance. Little gII has nearly perfected the air guitar and the head banging. In fact, just finished playing All Star and Crazy Train.
Tomorrow is going to be my Christmas in May. All my tech stuff is sitting in St. Cloud right now waiting to be delivered. I received my router today but I already returned it. Went with the Time Capsule via Apple.
Edit. Good luck goldy.
Edit II. Heard a good joke over the weekend.
Why are men smarter during sex? Because during sex they're plugged into an f' ing know it all.![]()
Went from one job to three in 6 hours. Yay me. Cutting back considerably at the crappy job that I dislike, picked up a semi-full time job at the fitness/rehab center/hospital, and picked up another one working for a new ice cream shop that my best friend will be managing. Hell, we spend out summers together anyways, might as well serve ice cream at the same time.
Three part-time jobs and no degree. Sounds like you're really living the Fooper dream. Only thing missing is a couple of bastard children.![]()
Actually... two almost full times and a part time.
What's an almost full time? does it come with almost benefits and almost paid vacation?
Don't jinx it...Three part-time jobs and no degree. Sounds like you're really living the Fooper dream. Only thing missing is a couple of bastard children.![]()
I'll have another is the name of a horse, not a proper lifestyle, son.Morning all.
It was a very fun, eventful, and unfortunately, an expensive weekend for me. Received a ticket for $303 due to having one foot on the grass and one foot on the sidewalk drinking a beer.
Wow. Mankato sucks balls.
I get benefits, and have no need for them for 6 years.
26 is not practically 30.By which you mean that my company is subsidizing your healthcare by paying higher sums to the insurance company so that you can remain on your mom's insurance until you're practically 30, thus preventing me from being paid more. Thanks a lot, woman.![]()
Oh, because having the hard working taxpayers foot the bill is better.26 is not practically 30.
And it's my Dad's insurance.. Who's he work for? The VA![]()
The insurance system itself is a subsidy. People who don't file claims are paying for those that do. All those people living in hurricane/flood/earthquake prone areas rebuilding their homes every few years and incurring massive costs to their insurers are gradually driving up the premiums paid by everyone. Something similar can be said of healthcare. Thankfully, auto insurance remains affordable - probably because cars continue to get safer, and while accident rates likely haven't changed all that much, the medical costs incurred as a result of them have *probably* remained stable due to the increased safety features protecting drivers and passengers.By which you mean that my company is subsidizing your healthcare by paying higher sums to the insurance company so that you can remain on your mom's insurance until you're practically 30, thus preventing me from being paid more.
