Back from a loooong day. Conference to midafternoon then drive an hour to Lil's meet, then watch in the mist and cold for 3 hours. Now home. Stupid bbus showed up late to pick the kids up for the 3rd time. Lil had 15 minutes to do a 30+ min warm up. Still did the 2 mi in 10:38 on 2 days rest then walked 1/2 mile down the road to throw the Jav (not kidding, it was that far away) where they let him throw 2 warm up throws so he didn't shine in that. Then he ran the 4 X 800. I was exhausted watching. Not the best in anything but he raced Sunday, Wed and again today. (I can't get used to this HS thing where they run them into the ground with no rest.)
I was at a conference again. Driving out of the driveway before 6:30 AM is not my cup of tea.Morning.

It's a new season ticket holders club. My dad got the letter to join but it was $250 per each ticket you have. We'd never go. What game are you going to? I should see if we have that game.

This afternoon, all three teams in my division got an invitation to dinner next Tuesday from two guys who left us in January for a certain Detroit-area company that is on a hiring binge. I already know what this is all about, and I intend to go, just to hear what he has to say about the place.
