The AA semifinals last night broke the attendance record for the Xcel Energy Center. 19,893. Yes, more than the Wild or any Frozen 4, even the year the Gophers won it. That's the highest attendance for any hockey game ever held in the state of Minnesota.

They keep allowing more people in. But it is still crazy impressive.

She's also a 3 hour flight away. Let me know if she ever ventures to the midwest.

Brent, just tracked down the last name, and after that Facebook did the rest.

I keep getting "Jasmine Guy," and that's obviously not her. Oh well.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

So mookie - Scott (formerly of the Freep) told me on Twitter this morning that if BU loses this series and Maine and Lowell both make it to the Garden (all three very distinct possibilities) BU will probably go to St. Paul. Was checking flights this morning. Any interest in making the trip?? Need someone to split a car rental with! Saturday's games are 12:30 and 4:30, which would mean over by 7:30 and then could meet up with you guys afterwards if you're around! Flights to St Paul were easier and cheaper than Green Bay.

Damm, that sounds like it would be fun, but I won't be in town.

So, am I assuming correctly that no one here knows how to make the USCHO mobile site a default on my phone? A while back, the mobile version was a default here and someone told me what to do to fix that. And before anyone tells me go to the bottom of the page and select USCHO Mobile, I do that and when I go to the next page it goes back to the regular version.

I had that issue earlier in the week. I finally had to log out of USCHO. I then deleted the site from my bookmarks/favorites. I then relaunched and found the mobile link and logged. No issues since.

Good luck.

bbdl: I would love to be at the X tonight, but I will be working. Also, F5 tickets are still yours if you want them...
Ah, OK, that sucks. For the tickets, I'll take them. There are some games that I probably won't be going to, but that's usually the case.

all i can offer now is "maybe"... certainly not going unless they are there. and we won't know that for another 2 weeks - hard to guess what airfare will be then

Also make sure you have cookies enabled in your mobile browser. USCHO reverted back to the regular version on my phone in the last day or so but I was able to reselect the mobile version and it stuck.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

I am finally going to attend my first Washington Nationals game on 6/16 when my brother and his family will be here with the Yankees in town. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

For some reason, it has corrected itself and I'm now on the mobile version on both the iPhone and BlackBerry.

Mookie, I'm not going to any regional that BU is not at. Airfare roundtrip leaving at 6am Saturday, direct nonstop on Delta was, like, $369. For Green Bay it was about $699 and you have to change in Chicago. No thanks. And I know fares will be different when it would come to book. Just wanted to see what flights would be like.

Uh huh. Just making sure...
