Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

That would be funny if she didn't know how far away Winnipeg actually is. :D

Might as well just fly into Chicago and drive to either GB or St.P depending on which regional BU is dumped in.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

For some reason, it has corrected itself and I'm now on the mobile version on both the iPhone and BlackBerry.

Mookie, I'm not going to any regional that BU is not at. Airfare roundtrip leaving at 6am Saturday, direct nonstop on Delta was, like, $369. For Green Bay it was about $699 and you have to change in Chicago. No thanks. And I know fares will be different when it would come to book. Just wanted to see what flights would be like.

If BU ends up in GB, might want to look into flying into Milwaukee and driving the 2 hours up to Green Bay

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

I just got drunk dialed by my dad. Not once, but twice. The last phone call was him asking me how to operate the DVD player. Really? I explained it how many times.

Les, tonight is the night to watch everybody else melt down.

Well, you can start by watching this one. It took 14 minutes for BG to put Ferris down 1-0.

Good hopping Lord in a pickle can.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

It could be two periods before a summer at the **** hockey table. :(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

The game is about to start! It looks like a packed house again at the X. Should be a good one.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

1. The Winnipeg thing was for the trip to North Dakota, not the regional in St. Paul.
2. Lowell's series started on Thursday as I believe the Tsongas Center had an event tonight.
3. Painted bandit - thanks for the driving distance. I was wondering what it would be. That would also be a possibility.
4. It may not, though, because I'm lounging at the HHT tonight! Had dinner at the HHT - mmmmm, Kelly's Roast Beef. W00t!! Still one more game tomorrow though.
5. Was at the *hockey table for a bit when I heard our women's team lost in triple OT with 10.1 seconds left after coming from 3 goals down in the third period to tie it at 7. What a way to go out. Tough loss, but a super human effort.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

You might want to get a place at the * hockey table, just in case. This is getting absurd.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

I think it's more like I need to get good and ****ed at this team once in a while.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

Nope, not going to say anything and use my Opposite Girl powers for evil.

We're up 6-3 now, unless the referee prison-sexes us on the replay. I think I can switch tables now.

Hi there.

Hi there.

Welcome! Glad you could make it.

Today's 4pm game time was weird. Game ended about 6:30, got dinner, sitting here now watching more college hockey and it's not even 9:30.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 146: Playoff Hockey Activities

Interesting about GB... I'd just think of flying to GB just so I don't have to worry about a car... would have to see how much easier/cheaper it is.

Right now, I figure that Lowell is the same spot... Bridgeport and Green Bay are the most likely (UMN eating up that #2 seed in St. Paul and BC being #1 in worcester)... I got somebody who gave a vote of confidence to Green Bay's downtown nightlife. We'll see.
