Morning Lodge.

Jr's team had a playoff game last night, District Playoff semi-final. Against traditional rival Eden Prairie who they had beaten twice this year. Our boys played like crap again. No jump, no focus. Fell behind 2-0. In third period the coaches put out our PP unit (all 3 centers together on a line) several times and they got the two needed for the tie. EP took a 5 minute major, checking from behind with 3+ minutes left. On ensuing PP, one of our D hooked a guy a little and, of course, the refs evened it up. Then in the 4 on 4 one of our players got pulled down with no call and he reacted badly with a swipe at the kid who pulled him down and got the slash. We finished up regulation killing a 4 on 3 and OT started with 5 seconds left of the 4 on 3.

Jr took the draw on that one as all our centers were in the box or had just come off. After our player got out of the box there was scramble play in neutral zone and jr came up with the puck for a semi-break and put the puck just under the goalie's catching glove for the game winner! 0:28 into OT. Too much drama for me. Finals Sunday at 5 PM on our home rink vs one of the Tonka teams who were playing right after us last night.

Congratulations!

You had posted that he wasn't feeling well earlier in the week. Was he still under the weather? The reason I ask is that whenever I played and was sort of ill I always played one of my best games. Not sure why. Maybe something to do with focus...............????????????

I miss the days when I could sleep in and not wake up until noon. Now I sleep in and I'm up at 8:00.

Weekdays I am at the YMCA by 5AM. Weekends breakfast is usually served in our house before 6:30 AM.

I am sure one day the boys will start to sleep in.

He is better, but both of us are battling colds right now. His gastric issues seem to have settled down for now though. He missed school Tuesday with stomach problems. Way too much school missed this year with his health issues. :(

He didn't have a great game, not bad, but not great. Like les said he comes through when it matters. He has not scored much this season but when he has, they've been game tiers or winners.

My body shifted one day when I was 14 and I've slept in ever since... before that.... 5:30-6 AM every morning.

----

Local ABC used to have this old guy teaching people how to draw seascapes around that time of the morning... I missed that stuff. I loved Saturdays growing up. Assorted cartoons to 11 and then at 11 would be Looney Tunes and then candlepin bowling at noon. Dad would usually make something easy and tasty for lunch... burgers, hot dogs, keilbasa, pastrami, etc. and a bag of chips.

(watch only for the theme music)

Finally got my last piece of tax information. Still no 1099-B, but at least I have the information I need to compute the taxes on my own. Once again, I'll probably realize that it won't be worth it to submit until April anyway.

Yeah, its more of a high school and college thing. Though I didn't get to sleep in much in high school, farm work and all.

What am I missing? Who is this and where are the pictures?
The little, very hot and cute (per mookie) woman who does the promos at our rink. Tight little outfits (Not skanky, no low cut stuff but skirts are barely finger length) with spike heeled boots. She is not Asian.

Per anyone with eyes that work. (and even blind peeps if they Braille her)

So, am I assuming correctly that no one here knows how to make the USCHO mobile site a default on my phone? A while back, the mobile version was a default here and someone told me what to do to fix that. And before anyone tells me go to the bottom of the page and select USCHO Mobile, I do that and when I go to the next page it goes back to the regular version.

Eh, she's married, but does look pretty nice. (Google Champion, I am)

dude... first you take your hat off in a bar to let some broad steal it, now this??!!

what is wrong with you? didn't anyone learn you up right?

married chicks.
1) they won't feel the need to stay and sleep over.
2) they won't be upset if you leave afterwards.
...both of these are "win".

The AA semifinals last night broke the attendance record for the Xcel Energy Center. 19,893. Yes, more than the Wild or any Frozen 4, even the year the Gophers won it. That's the highest attendance for any hockey game ever held in the state of Minnesota.

She's also a 3 hour flight away. Let me know if she ever ventures to the midwest.

Brent, just tracked down the last name, and after that Facebook did the rest.
