Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 145: are you giving up something for lent??

Get to go to sleep early because we decided to head back 30 minutes earlier than usual. Me like. Still 70 degrees down here tonight, supposed to be back up around 80 today. Me like also.

Morning tLodge. Hoping to go to the final NU game of the year (Depends on the weather and how the little one does). Too bad there's a ton of slush out side. I would rather rain or snow. Not this mix of both crap.

Mornin' Lodge. Gonna be a triple-Monster day, methinks. Due to getting up early for work all week, my body adjusted to that schedule, and I couldn't sleep in today. And my friend(s) in CO will probably want to live it up a little tonight, so I'm sure I'll have to caffeinate before that. Oh well, it's gonna be fun.

Good Morning Lodge.

Training class this afternoon on some BS government conceived selection program. Not. Looking. Forward. To. It.

Good evening Lodge.

Regarding little gII.......I thought for sure today he would have been a little sore and grumpy and slow moving. Not! He didn't skip a beat. I am impressed. I am beginning to think that the hospital put him under and forgot to do the procedure. :)

In fact, I think it is an evil ploy orchestrated by the WPF. (World Popsicle Federation)
I had the same procedure when I was 13-14 years old, and I was a little sore for about a day, nothing really bad though, and after that felt like I was back to 100%. It was a breeze.

Good morning Lodge. Crappy weather here, though all I have is rain, rain and more rain. Some of my co-workers, though got a bit of snow and my nieces actually have a snow day. Probably because they haven't used any of them this year.

So, last night I was out having a beverage and the TV at the bar had ESPN on. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a clip of the BU-NMU national championship game. The hell? I asked hottie bartender was that ESPN or ESPN2 and then texted mookie as I had no idea why on earth that clip was being teased during SportsCenter and asked him to watch. Hottie bartender said it was probably a top ten of events that happened on Leap Day or something. I was like dude, you know I love you dearly but don't ever question my knowledge of BU hockey history. :) I informed him that the game was in late March, not February, of 1991, which was not a leap year, that I was actually at the game and still have my ticket stub. Thankfully mookie was able to text me with what that top 10 was. Extended finishes? Weird. That game was #9. It's really odd to have included that given there have been a few cooler OT games since that one. Wanted to post because I thought of 'diva when I saw it, though she was but a wee young 'un when that game happened. Was it really 22 years ago????

A few years ago, one of my friends gave me one of those iPod docking stations that is also an alarm clock and radio. The digital display also includes the date. It apparently wasn't programmed properly as it did not recognize Leap Day and now it says March 2. Not sure if I can fix that.

You should have demanded a kiss from Hottie Bartender as an apology for doubting your BU knowledge. ;)

One of the business unit presidents from my company was sitting two seats away - that probably wouldn't have gone over well. :) I did get a free glass of wine, though.

Yeah, you're right. It would probably have made the president a little jealous. :D

It has already been a long day. Made pancakes at 5:30 this morning, built a fort, played Legos, read a bunch of books, colored and now we are watching Yogi Bear. I need a nap. Might have to break out the narcotics and give little gII a dose............;)

Explain to him why Yogi wears a tie, a hat, and no pants.

Or......the episode we watched.........a crook was hiding out and was wearing a bear costume and Yogi being the nice bear he is took him under his wing. The sheriff that was looking for the crook had a dog that was hot the trail of the crook. The dog kept sniffing out Yogi and his new friend to which the sheriff mentioned "dog quit molesting Yogi."
