NYS is only easy to figure out because it's so similar to the 1040 form.

DC comes straight from the 1040 with a few additions and subtractions (e.g., DC doesn't let you deduct DC income tax paid which you can deduct on the 1040, so it has to be added back in.

I started going to an accountant after I bought my condo. The first year I bought it I tried Turbo Tax, and while it seemed pretty easy, I missed some description of something to do with the point of interest I got with my mortgage. I guess if it's your first home, you don't have to amortize it over the length of the mortgage or whatever. Then I wound up getting a 1099 for my fed refund and didnt understand why so I went to my brother's account for help and while he was doing the taxes noticed the error fromt he previous year and I got a second check for almost $900. I figure that pays for the account for the next few years. So much easier.

I don't know whether to sit at the Happy Baseball Table or the * Baseball Table.

The Tigers just chose the nuclear option to replace V-Mart.

Good afternoon Lodge.

We have our taxes done by an accountant as our returns (more than one) are fairly complicated. Besides, I pay my accountant to get it done right as they know all the ins and outs and such and they can maximize every possible situation.

(Do you have any idea how difficult it is to write off tt year after year after year when you live in a state with such a void in championships? ;) )

Morning.

Isn't this a bit late for you miss?
LIfe intervened.

We went to an accountant after we got a 2 family. Went for yrs, even after we off loaded the thing. The guy died :( (He was younger than us) went with Turbo Tax for a yr. The next yr we flipped some investments into another fund and the first company messed the paperwork up and sent it to us after we filed. It looked like we owed 28K in taxes. Gack! Off to another accountant. Instead of paying got back 700 $Turbo Tax missed and some from the yr before when they looked at that. No more of that!

Depends on how many times Marlboro Jimmy plays Don Kelly at 3B, Gump Laird behind the plate, and DH's Raburn on the same day.

Around Eastern and Central NY, Sunoco has a deal with Price Chopper (a grocery store) that, assuming they still do it, offers 10 cents off per gallon for every $50 in groceries you buy. Granted I don't spend that much in groceries since there's no FlagDUDETTE or Little FlagDUDEs, not to mention I don't like to support things that are based in Schenectady ;) (ALDI's cheaper anyway), but it helps.

They still do it. As the beneficiary of having the biggest gas tank of our 4 vehicles in the driveway, I have 70 cents off a gallon waiting for me when I get home. Makes buying the required premium gas that much easier ;)

Now not getting home until Saturday AM. No flights departing Houston early enough after my class ends Friday to make it to the airport. Oh well.

I don't know why you need one of those. He'll spend more time on the DL than he will on the mound.

*HT. Jon will be happy/ Poop to L'Alliance.

Actually I am still indifferent. Once we hit 5 wins all the rest is a bonus ball.

It's more of something I said I'd do if we ever got either one of those players. And I'd have the one lettered to read Guitar Hero.

Gosh that was a long day. Library, sax repair guy, Target, groceries, boy's hockey practice, girl's Girl Scout meeting. All with one car. Now Mr. Elijah Craig is helping console me. :)
