Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 142: On the 1000th Post of the Last Thread

Finally getting tax information, and as I suspected, I cannot freefile. I missed it by a few bucks. Of course with a computer that does not support tax software, at least I can still paper file.

Government and State accepted my taxes on the 17th (first day possible), and the State has already deposited my return as of this morning in to my bank account. :D

I have one form back, one from Wells Fargo, for about $5 of interest in a savings account. I'm still waiting for the forms from work, 2 student loans, mortgage, etrade, employee stock purchase plan and my other bank. So...yeah, I'm not getting my taxes done soon.

Our taxes will go in on April 15, along with a check to both feds and State. Again, won't lend them our money interest free and will pay them the last moment possible.

Yay for you! You have a job! Tell BPH what that is like. :p;)

Eff off. :p

Still waiting on a few tax forms myself, and thanks for reminding me about bank forms - opened a new savings account last year (with about 5 cents of interest :p) I'll probably get things done in late February.

Also: Morning, Lodge. :)

I always fill out the forms as soon as possible. If I owe, I wait until April 15th to file. If they owe me, I file right away.

But my wife is self employed (as an accounting professional) she carefully figures her estimated payments on her own income to get us right to the edge of where we can be. Not so large a check on 4/15 to invite an audit, but no less than that either so we keep it as long as we can.

BPH, that was meant as a dig on MNS, not you!

For les, or Monster, or anyone else who knows. Any recommendations for my son's recovery? He has a rib that has subluxated a couple times. The chiro puts it back in, but it comes out again. Any tips? Also, should I wrap it before he plays hockey?

The government can use my money interest free, as long as I get to keep all of my guns. It is a little truce we came to. :p

I thought I had heard taxes weren't due until the 17th this year since the 15th is a Sunday and the 16th is a holiday in DC or something?

Whatever. When she hands me the form, I'll sign it and she'll send it in.

I would think that there's some exercises that he could do to help strengthen the muscles holding the rib in, a good PT should be able to help him with that.

Rub some dirt on it. He'll be fine.
